Ive been a fan of wrestling since 1991 and today is a sad sad day. I think to myself is it all worth it anymore. The violence the racey storylines the hurt it causes to so many people.
This world has enough real life drama without Vince pretending to be dead and without guys bleeding week in week out.
For the sake of what. Death after death and now a potential murder by one of the top wrestlers of a generation.
Wrestling is no longer a form of entertainment its become something sinister. A guy like Chris Benoit may have lost himself in the reality somewhere along the line.

Err, what? It's a complete coincidence that the Vince angle took place during the time when Benoit supposedly decided to murder his family. I'm sorry, but wrestling hasn't changed one bit, this is just an unfortunate time for the fans. I don't see why people get so worked up over a fake death storyline when it happens practically every week in soaps. And if you're suggesting that Benoit went crazy cause of a wrestling angle then he truly belongs in a mental hospital rather than in a ring.
Sorry to get all crazy about the situation but I support everything Vince does for the fans and really sympathise that this horrible event has happened right when he was carrying out his death storyline. We all owe Vince some credit for commericalising pro wrestling and I will continue to support as many of his decisions as possible. It's just a damn shame that these two events had to intertwine because now Vince must be feeling fairly guilty, and he really shouldn't.

IMO The WWE/WWF died a long time ago. Now it is just sick and pathetic. I only support them by buying their classic dvds, that's it. Their current product is the absolute pits and it will only get worse as Vince gets more and more desperate. I implore all of you save your $40 every month, someday the WWE might get the hint....

Yes its probably not the right time to debate on the rights and wrongs of pro wrestling.
But Vince brought some that was as real as it gets. (tribute shows, 10 bell salutes) etc and turned them into fantasy.
Maybe somewhere along the line Benoit has lost his mind and maybe this has triggered something off inside him.

There have been deaths in wrestling, tragic and otherwise, for a long time. Baseball has had it's share of tragic deaths and it still continues there's no reason to think pro wrestling won't.
