Yea, this had to have been something extremely offensive because most of the time it takes quite alot to get a superstar to actually retaliate with physical force.

Nah, sorry... Real men walk away. NO MATTER WHAT. Real men laugh at people that say crap like that at bars trying to impress some ugly broad. Finlay should have headbutted the fan to death, ripped his skull out, and hit it like a golf ball with his shaleileigh(sp)...why? BECAUSE HE LOVES TO FIGHT!!! post of the year.

" Hey Finlay, I bet you drank a little too much beer before that hardcore match in WCW, eh?"
That could have done the trick.

Interesting, I've never heard of that before, what's the story behind that one? sorry my bad, it wasn't formt hat match Finlay still saw the light of the occasional Nitro and Thunder, but was never involved in any storylines or pay per views. The only pay per view he was involved in was Bash at the Beach '99. He won an open invitational hardcore junkyard battle royal(one of the dumbest matches ever) to win a giant hardcore trophy and be named the hardcore champion. Later that month, however, Finlay was severely hurt in a hardcore match at a WCW house show when he was thrown through a table. The jagged edge of the table severely lacerated his leg near his knee, leaving doctors to speculate that he may never be able to walk again. Finlay proved he was just as tough in real life as he was in the wrestling ring, returning to WCW in 2000 to compete. Little was done with the returning Finlay, however, and WCW was bought by the WWE in 2001.
Credit: some page from google That whole thing up there is wrong he was a regular on ppvs in wcw from 97-98 and was tv champion at i believe great american bash 98. So id take the info from that with a grain of salt as finlay was used quiet often on ppvs during that time before he did his hardcore gimmick with brian knobbs.

At least he did not kill people, unlike other technically talented non-Americans. It's safe to assume you're talking about the Great Khali. He means Benoit, I'm sure. Or maybe the Khali thing is a joke and i'm just too tired and read it wrong.

this calls for one of the collective "oooohhhh, you gots in truuubllle!". For real though, c'mon Finlay! I remember when a fan threw a beer can at Taker. I beleive it was at least half full too.
I remember this small wrestling company here in Ohio, this big ugly dude Moose (sadly the only black dude, at first I thought it was a racist company until they asked my dad if he was intested. Guess not thank goodness.) But once he spat almost on my dad and my da wnet crazy. Moose was very disrespectful and it was sad 'cause some of the fans there were rednecky and me and my dad (and Moose!) were the only black people there. And they all started lookin at Moose and my dad about to come to blows. The next time we went Moose was GONE!
I am signing up at the company. I want to be a manger. I am working on a storyline of maybe like a Kevin Thorne type. I don't really want to wrestle. Just want to be apart of it. Who knows...maybe I'll train and become champ or something...

I was at that show. It was in Dothan, Alabama. I saw him jump over the rail and I was like WTF? Then he shoved the guy. Funny thing is, the guy was sitting in front of me. But he had the wrong seat, so they moved him to the other side of the ring. But yeah, he jumped the rail and shoved the guy. We didn't know what the hell was going on. Surprised the fan didn't get escorted out for shoving him back.

(which these days it could be.)
