I think the "King" gimmick is fine for him.
Everyone called him stale when he was Booker T. C'mon, it was getting old.
He was in the mid-card for over 5 years...it was boring and time for a change.
He plays the King role perfectly, and it's actually humorous.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the King Booker gimmick. It's one of the very few that is still original. I love it

It's kind of like Hulk Hogan in early '99. The previous gimmick was getting stale, but now the current one is as well.
and lets face it..the big reason Booker T was getting stale was because he was NEVER pushed as a main eventer in WWE, minus WM19.

all hail king bookah. i really hope he beats triple h (my favorite wrestler) at SS and orton looses and king booker wins the title against cena at the next ppv

Honestly, I hated his king gimmick and I thought it was getting really stale, but ever since he moved to RAW I've done a full 180 on King Bookah. His promos have been alot better lately and I am really liking the way his character is going. It's the same with Santino Marella, he was just boring as a babyface, but ever since he turned heel he has been 10x more entertaining.

Honestly, how many wrestlers that have played both sides of the fence can you honestly say were more entertaining as a face? Austin and Rock, and maybe that's about it. Add Helms to the list if you want. But people like HHH, Cena, Marella, Booker, etc., they mostly seem to make better heels. |

King Booker is the only gimmick aside from Jillian's Popstar gimmick that I find mildly entertaining currently.

I think it's kinda gay. It almost is like a throwback to the pre-Attitude days when theyt had corny kings, clowns, etc ... I don't care what he calls himself, but doing the pinky thing and his promo's suck. It's just too childish to me.

I liked Austin as a heel in 96-97 better than any of his face runs
Rock was better as a heel too
whoever said too bad they cant all be heels was right it seems heels are way better than faces

its cool.. but at this point in his career.. i feel like he's just wasting away.. this gimmick would've been hot 5 years ago

People are under the impression, now with King Booker a former WWE World Champion, he could win the belt again. With or Without the gimmick.
However this is WWE, and alot of things factor into a World Title, the Gimmick does him alot of favors in the charisma department.
