I don't think I've seen this topic, an awful lot.
So what, in your opinions, are the greatest wrestling names, or nicknames?
What makes a wrestling name?

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart.
Simple, yet effective.

I like Christians nicknames, Captain Charisma and the Instant Classic. I thought The Rock was cool too.

First names that came to mind reading the title were "The People's Champ" and "The Great One" for the Rock.

The Undertaker Bret "The Hitman" Hart "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Gangrel Legion of Doom "Instant Classic" Christian Cage "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert The Four Horsemen "Alpha Male" Monty Brown
All of those were genius nicknames and they really made some great gimmicks and characters. It actually took some thought to come up with them. Its too hard to choose just one.

"Reflection of Perfection" "Instant Classic" "Captain Charisma" "Jericholics" and how about the "Japanese Buzzsaw" Tajiri
And for the record, the ministry had some of the best well thought up nick-names. From acolytes to paul bear, undertaker, viscera... ok, maybe not viscera.

The Crusher Dick The Bruiser Abdullah The Butcher Rip Hawk Vader Dr Death Steve Williams Bruiser Brody Freddie "The Vampire" Blassie
With names like that, you know you're not going to see "human chess". You're going to see a fight.

It sure did, but meaning wise, not so much. Makes me wonder if Mideon was spelt wrong, and it had a meaning of it's own too, like a median.
