To have a successful title run you need to have decent MIC skills, so that leaves "Stale Trix" out of the equation.
Here's my three.
MVP - He has really made a name for himself this past year, it's gonna take either him going to RAW or Edge losing the belt to one of the SD faces to get a shot any time soon, but he has essential criteria.
Chavo - Better wrestler than MVP, but lacks the charisma he has, still deserves a title run, but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
Mr. Kennedy - This guy could turn face with a flip of a switch if he wanted to that's how good he is on the MIC, he wrestling moves aren't spectacular but they really don't have to be.

everyone that thinks kennedy deserves the title so much (for what valid reason, i have no idea, but anyways.....) should be praying for hardy to win the title. an orton/kennedy feud isn't going to happen, but a hardy/kennedy feud is definitely do-able & has the potential to be very interesting & something fresh...but only if kennedy keeps performing well against hbk. the past few weeks is the only time i've seen anything to him that doesn't scream mid-card.

It's called incredible MIC skills my man, over the last few weeks since being involved in HBK feud he has cut probably the best promos of anyone in the WWE. It's the number ONE skill you need if your going to be on the big stage for any great period of time. Hell you don't even have to be a good wrestler if your great on the MIC, just look at Hogan, Cena, Kevin Nash, Austin post neck injury, ect., they didn't/don't have very good wrestling ability but they have the charisma to put them in the forefront of the company.

Chavo Guerrero. I'll never understand why fans don't seem to care about He's been here much longer than most of the guys listed, is a great wrestler, and has great charisma. He's finally getting a decent push, but I doubt he's getting a World Title run out of this push.. I agree, Chavo is great in ring, he just needs some direction and he could be huge. However, my biggest problem with Chavo is more of a personal thing. Eddie and Benoit died and he's STILL on steroids and pain killers? Seriously...what does it take to get a message through? I agree, it was really upsetting to find out Chavo was on steroids when his uncle died because of them. But I don't think it's a reason to keep him away from the World Title. I mean technically it should, but WWE doesn't seem to care about giving a title to somebody with past( or future in the case of Hogan) connections to steroids.

I think the most important thing for WWE is merchandise tbh. With Cena gone for now, Hardy could sell a lot more merchandise as champ. They don't even have to give it to him for that long, but having the belt on Orton can't be moving a lot of t-shirts. Kennedy is gold on the mic, I think they should wait a bit longer. Give him a couple of more meaningful fueds. Don't peak him or mvp too early. Maybe next mania start working them towards it. Give HHH or HBK one more run and then never let them have it again. It's time to let the new talent run with it.

William Regal is looooooong overdue for a short title run. Very true. Nothing amazing, but a title reign long enough for him to finally be taken seriously. Oh, and Matt Hardy. Seriously, as a heel, he has it all. Charisma, talent, fan interest/heat. In fact, is there one good reason why he shouldn't win the title? Carlito, MVP, Kennedy, and Elijah still have a long road ahead of them before they should actually be considered to carry the company. We don't need any more over-pushed wastes of space like Lesnar or Orton.

I wish people would realise, that Kennedy is not even close to being world title material... Oh, and the answer is Jeff Hardy, BTW... Thanks for the laugh... MVP, CM Punk, Finlay, Paul Burchill, and William Regal Elijah Burke should get the ECW title in '08 and a world title in '09 or '10. Why?... Obviously management agree - or Jeff wouldn't get even a sniff of the WWE championship... MVP getting a world title, would be a bigger laugh in my view... everyone that thinks kennedy deserves the title so much (for what valid reason, i have no idea, but anyways.....) should be praying for hardy to win the title. an orton/kennedy feud isn't going to happen, but a hardy/kennedy feud is definitely do-able & has the potential to be very interesting & something fresh...but only if kennedy keeps performing well against hbk. the past few weeks is the only time i've seen anything to him that doesn't scream mid-card. Kennedy * Wrestling Observer Newsletter o Best Gimmick award in 2005Yeah, nothing special there anybody can win that award Nobody right now in the WWE is cutting better promos than him - period.

Jeff Hardy people can say what they want but the truth is that he is one of if not the most popular wrestler on the roster right now. They ed up with Van Dam at No Mercy 2001 they should have put the belt on him then when he was red hot even if it was just for say a month. I hope they don't make the same mistake with Jeff.

I want to say Jeff Hardy and not feel like Im on the bandwagon now that he is really "over" right now. Honestly I really dont understand the hate towards him...
And in my opinion I would love to see Kennedy on the level he was on Smackdown and get in the picture...
Otherwise if you really look at the rosters and look at those who havent won a world title, its pretty weak...Finlay and Chavo have been mentioned and I have to agree that to an extent they could be world title material. Chavo can put on a great match, he doesnt have a whole lot of charisma, but the guy has been through a lot, losing two of his best friends and all...

Posting crap, to get attention?... Nah, that would be you, when you say things like "Morrison is the best wrestler in the biz today" - and actually expect people to agree with you... Anyway, back on topic... that was in '05 - nowadays, Kennedy is staler than 5 day old bread... Any 'award' he got 2 years ago, doesn't mean squat... Who cares about 'awards' from dirtsheets, anyway?...

Both Jeff & Matt Hardy to me they are the most consistently over performers on the roster.

William Regal and Finlay are good choices to be champs hopefully! They both have great ring skills and Regal is great on the mic

Well to be politically correct, Ric Flair winning the World Title would be his first title run. It would be his first with that belt in WWE. Now winning the WWE title is a different story Exactly. Flair has never won the World Heavyweight title and I think he should. Well, actually, Flair won the World Heavyweight title many times. Its practically the same as the ol' WCW title. And he did hold the WWE title back when he was feuding with Savage. He has never held the World Title while in WWE, but he still had the major WWE title back when, even if it was for a few months, he DID headline WM.
