I met Pat Patterson outside of my hotel the morning after Fully Loaded 2000. I was only ten at the time and I was with my whole family. He actually approached us because my brother and I were wearing wrestling shirts. He was really nice, he talked with us for like ten minutes and told my dad about how they all love to take shots at WCW on TV whenever they get the chance. He was a great dude.
I was watching the wrestlers come in the parking lot with my family before Bad Blood 2003 and Rico and Jackie Gayda came out and took pictures with a bunch of people like half an hour. They were really fun people. In another interesting note, the other wrestlers drove their cars to the building, but RVD came sprinting into the parking garrage from across the street. It was pretty funny.
My dad and I went to meet Jerry Lawler at some car convention in my area that he was signing autographs at. He was really nice, he talked to us for like five minutes (which is a long time when there's people waiting in line, usually they just sign your pictures or whatever and have you move on) and he even posed put us in headlocks and let us take pictures. He was great.
I met a bunch of wretlers at WrestleManiaXIX's Fan Axxess, but the most memorable was Kane. They stopped letting people get in line to meet him because it was getting too long and they wanted him to be able to get out of there on time, but after all the fans had moved through the line he got up from the table he was at and signed a bunch of stuff for fans that weren't even in line. I thought it was really classy of him and I'll never forget it.

My friend once went to a SD!/ECW house show and met some people. He talked to Michelle and another SD! Diva, I forget who, and they were both very nice. The divas also said Edge was a great guy, except when my friend went over to Edge and touched his belt (WHC at the time) when he wasn't looking, he got angry. I'm assuming he was just keeping kayfabe. He said RVD was a great guy, too. Really interacted with the fans.

I've met both William Regal and Mick Foley and found them to be nothing but friendly. Mick was standing in the way of my seat during the interval at show here in the UK in 2005 and was chatting to me and signed some stuff, he was awesome.

Bret Hart was one of the nicest of all, asked questions about me and such, he wanted lots of pictures taken too
Jerry Lynn was nice, I wanted Cyrus' autograph and he was on the phone and Jerry got his attention and Cyrus signed while he was still on the phone
AJ Styles was okay, he offered me a slice of pizza
Shane Douglas was awesome, although he kept complaining about his arm being broken he was still nice
Sabu was the worst. After a match when he was walking back to the locker room i asked him to sign my sabu poster and said get the hell out of my way kid, but you know how sabu gets

Brock Lesnar, after my first wrestling event ever (Summer Bash tour '02) I was outside the arena, he came over, grabbed my poster, scribbled an illegible signature on it, shoved it into me and barged through everyone without saying a word. Cena came out after him in KayFabe so he was like 'you can't see me' and refusing to sign anything, Chavo was nice but when I asked him where Eddie was he said he was 'getting seen to in the back' must have taken a bump.

I love Eddie and all but Chavo was underrated by fans.

There's only 1 person I've met that lives their gimmick: The Miz. He's a true douchebag Most of the other wrestlers I've met are awesome in person (Jimmy Yang is by far the friendliest) and only a very few are dicks When I met Miz, he was very friendly and stayed to talk with me. Kurt Angle- Awesome guy. Very friendly. Big Show- Pretty cool guy. When I went to meet him, just as it was my turn to get my autograph, they said that the signing was over and Show was leaving, but Show said "Hey, he bought my merchandise, hell yeah he can have an autograph." Major Bros.- Nice guys. They stayed around and talked to me. Kelly Kelly- Very talkitive and nice. Mike Knox- Not much of a talker, but he's not an ass or anything. Ric Flair- Awesome guy. Didn't get to talk to him very long (damn security), but he was great. Ron Simmons- Once again, really nice guy. RVD- Really cool guy. He stayed to talk with me. Matt Striker- He is really awesome. We talked for a while before the show. Really, really cool guy. Booker T- He didn't talk much, but what really amazed me was that he came back to sign a kid's figure, after he was supposed to be getting ready for the show. Bobby Lashley- He's really nice, actually. I'm not a huge fan of his, but he's a really nice guy in person. Krystal- Very talkative. Really nice to meat her. Jamie Noble- Cool guy. We talked for a bit. Kid Kash- Didn't get to talk to him much, but he's pretty cool. MVP- Kayfabed it. Oh and... Jeff Hardy's a huge drugie, JBL has sex with people in showers, and HHH burries everyone

There was an autograph signing at Woodbine Race Track here in Canada a while back. There was:
Kurt Angle: Kinda grumpy but a nice guy Benoit: WAS a great guy... WGTT: Both Haas and Benjamin were really nice Torrie: Nice on more than one way Sable: See Torrie Matt Hardy: Ass, but probably because he was in kayfabe
And there were others there that I didn't get to meet.
I also met Edge and Rhyno, both were amazingly friendly and treated you like a friend not like they were better than you, cough Randy Orton cough.

I think the reason a lot of people have mixed reports of how wrestlers are is because wrestlers are human and get in very bad moods sometimes. I know I'd get pretty fussy if I was always on the road and didn't get a lot of privacy.
