What would Eddie be doing today?

It's hardly fair to blame the Benoit tragedy on Eddie Guerrero. His brain would still be damaged, his other best friend would have still died, he would have still been using steroids etc.

Well, IMO, If Eddie was alive, Benoit would be too. Why? Chris went into a total bombshell when Eddie died, thats when things went downhill for Chris. As they said, steriods had no part in this tragedy. His brain, thats a different story. But anyhow, on topic, What would Eddie be doing. I could see him being pushed greatly, and on his way to win the Royal Rumble.

I think they were obviously getting Rey in line for a huge push in 2005, so he was inevitably going to win the title either way, imo. - May have seen a variation on the Triple Threat that happened. Instead of Angle, have Eddie/Orton/Rey - with Rey leaving champion and feuding with Eddie until Summerslam where he'd capture the belt with the help of Chavo, re-forming a fully fledged heel Los Guerreros stable of sorts.

He'd probably be doing what Benoit was doing early last year. Holding the US title and cropping new talent like MVP.

Chavo out of a job. CM Punk would of lost the title to someone else. Benoit probably wouldn't of been so depressed and maybe would be alive. He would of been WHC atleast once. Booker T wouldn't of been WHC. He could be on ECW or SD or in the Intercontinental ranking on Raw. The tag team titles would be worth more. Vickie Guerrero wouldn't of been the General manager therefore her and Edge wouldn't of been dating. Probably Kristal wouldn't of been put in an uncomfortable position so her and Lashley might have still been in the E.

Rey Mysterio probably wouldn't of been in the Main Event. Mr. Kennedy wouldn't of been in Eddie's last match meaning they probably would of been feuding for a while. No drug tests therefore Mr. Kennedy would be a McMahon. Booker T wouldn't of been accused of taking Drugs therefore he might still be in the WWE. Kurt Angle would either still be in the WWE or dead because they wouldn't of cared about his drug abuse.

Basically the whole Industry has been changed due to his death. Imagine Jeff Hardy probably wouldn't of been in the main event of the rumble. Well Mr. Kennedy wouldn't of been in a match vs. Cena because he probably would still be on SD therefore Cena might not of been injured. The WWE's ratings would be where they were before Benoit died. MVP probably wouldn't be where he is because I think Eddie would be where he is.

TNA might not have two hours. Samoa Joe might still be undefeated and be TNA world champion since he lost his reign to Kurt Angle who might of still been in the WWE. Chris Harris and K-Kwik wouldn't be on there way to WWE because they would have been pushed better in TNA. They might not have a women's division if they wouldn't of gotten two hours. Since they basically ruined the X-Divison IMO since Kurt Angle went to TNA Jay Lethal might not be X-Divison champion.

Plain simple fact is NOTHING would be the Same.
