Despite the fact that TNA Wrestling just added a new Women's division and already has a great deal of underutilized talent on their roster, the company is currently in talks with several free agents.
TNA Mobile sent out an alert this week stating that the company is in talks with Scott Hall, Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty. Scott Hall has lost a lot of weight and has been wrestling in Puerto Rico. With Kevin Nash on the verge of signing a new contract with TNA to wrestle, there have been reports that Nash has been pushing TNA to bring in his former Outsiders partner.
As I reported here this morning, the company is also looking to bring in 2 Cold Scorpio. Scorpio was signed to a WWE contract after ECW was revived, was never used on television and was released this summer.
TNA Bound For Glory saw the debut a new tag team made up of former WWE stars - Joey Mercury (as Joey Matthews) and Johnny Swinger (as Johhny Perisi). There have been rumors that TNA has talked to Sean Waltman, Sabu and Psycho Sid.
Booker T is all but confirmed to make his TNA debut shortly.
One of the biggest names that could be headed to TNA is Rob Van Dam. Van Dam has been a free agent for several months and we can confirm that he's talked with TNA management about working for them.

RVD isn't headed anywhere. Funny how TNA calls themselves the "New Face of Professional Wrestling", when they keep bringing in people that I'm familiar with.

This is good AND bad for TNA. Good that you have might have stars coming in that can sell tickets and possibly boost ratings, but its bad because that means the stars of the future won't get a lot of TV time. If only they could divide the 2 hours equally.

I'm fine with some of them. Booker, Scorpio, and Scott Hall. RVD could head to Japan and probably make more money off AJPW. He doesn't need TNA and TNA doesn't need him. Hall I want to see one last run with. Scorpio never actually had his second run in WWE, plus he's very talented, so use him. Booker I see just getting a good run in where he won't be held down. He's friends with a lot of their talent, he books through TNA already(and when still in WWE), use him.
Waltman, I thought he hated Russo too much to come back. Sid, I guess wouldn't be too bad, but don't bring everyone in at once. He deserves a final run. Sabu is Sabu. They don't need him, they'd just put him in matches with Abyss, Rave, Black Reign, and Rhino. S2H and Brian Christopher would only be in to reform Too Cool, which is useless. They don't need WWE teams. Swinger and Matthews I think I read did a MNM gimmick at BFG, great, way to rip off WWE again. I like them both and WWE should've kept them, but with the other 8 guys rumored to come in, what's the point?

This is the first I've heard of Booker T going to TNA!
And when did Joey Matthews and Jonny Perisi appear on Bound For Glory?

God, TNA doesn't have even enough time for their current roster let alone 10 more.

This is the first I've heard of Booker T going to TNA! And when did Joey Matthews and Jonny Perisi appear on Bound For Glory? In a dark match against the Motor City Machineguns. Matthews and Swinger lost. What I think they're forgetting is that they were in TNA BEFORE they were in WWE.

The only ones I could care less about are Hotty,Sid, & Hall. Everyone else would be decent to have.

I also loooovee how they twist the text messages. Here are the texts sent unedited & untwisted: "Will Fatu's former partners Brian Chrisopher & Scotty Taylor join him in TNA? OUr sources wouldn't confirm nor deny." It goes on to plug fight for your right. "Hall & Nash teamed up last wknd at a non-TNA event last week in OK" Then goes on to talk about Messias injury. Oh yeah.. that really says they are signing them .

Im really tired of hearing "They suck, all they do is bring in old WWE stars" but you fail to realize, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, OLD ECW GUYS. Booker T, OLD WCW GUY. Take a look at when WCW and WWF were battling it out, we would see stars going back and forth all the time, yet, no one said "im not watching, Hulk Hogan is an old WWF guy." And dont even say "well WCW was competition" because it has nothing to do with that. WWF ed up and released the stars they had, or let them go with out a fight, so TNA will pick them up. ITS BUSINESS, and not to mention, its part of THE REAL WORLD!

Yeah, I heard about Hall possibly returning. Nash wants to bring back The Outsiders, and also bring Waltman back into wrestling. If this is the case, TNA just might become more interesting.

I'd love a stable with Nash, Hall, and Waltman.

I'd love a stable with Nash, Hall, and Waltman. And Booker T, Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett. And they can feud with Sting. That'd be a fresh new angle for TNA.
