As perverted as my topic title is ... cut me some slack. What I mean is that back in the day you'd have big men like V, Henry and Umaga just come out and crush people ... even if they were just jobbers, they'd dominate ... so when a bigtime face beat em' it was a big deal.
I couldn't help, but chuckle when on RAW, when Henry came out JR said "He is one of the most untoppable forces in WWE, etc" because I can't remember the last time Mark Henry or Big Daddy V won a match ... yet anytime they come out its "Unstoppable, destuctive, can't be stopped" and all this sh-t but they literally NEVER win. Just a funny thing I noticed. Im not a big fan of big guys but at least make them seem like they're worth beating.

I totally agree with you. Umaga is made out to be a wrecking machine, but what has he really won? he destroys people in run-ins, but never in important matches.
Same goes for Henry. Taker, Cena, etc... They will all beat him. I really enjoy watching Cena, but I don't agree with him making Henry tap out.

All they get is being fed to Cena Also take notice to how near end of Bigshow's tenure* almost EVERYONE had picked him up. Rock, Taker, Kane, Kurt, Brock, Cena ect. He became a joke. And the WWE has the nerve to make a big deal every time someone lifts the "500 lbs Giant" like its the first time its every happened.

Yea i hate seeing Umage being used like this..Because hes actually one of the few talented big men.. Very true, people always bitch about him because the say he has a stupid gimmick, BUT his PPV matches are always so good, his Royal Rumble WWE Title match with Cena was so awesome (except for when Cena won) I think they should keep Umaga in or near the main event and eventually give him a world title (not the ECW).

Yeh the big men are just there to get their assses kicked week in and week out - definitely agree umaga deserves a title run - lets just hope they don't give the strap to cena for another 12 agonising months again

The thing with Big Men in wrestling is, they're supposed to be built up and then finally toppled. However toppled, doesnt mean destroyed. Umaga wasnt destroyed until he got in with Triple H who beat him clean without a struggle way too much. Mark Henry has never been "unstoppable" they just pretend he is. I'm sure they're convinced that no one takes him seriously anymore. He's good in the roll he's at though seeing as he doesnt appear to be a pushover. Big Daddy V has been losing constantly to The Undertaker. However this is not a problem. Why? Because Undertaker had to change up his style and find a different way to defeat him. Not only did it make Big Daddy V look like a monster, it also got another move of Taker's over. The only real Big Man they ed up was Umaga. Mark Henry was destroyed long ago.

Totally agreed. I like the bigger guys for some reason but yes they are not used as they should. Having two big guys lose in a handicap match and in short amounts of time is ridiculous.
Umaga, Kane, Taker, Khali and Batista are the only big guys being used correctly. However they can be improved.
Henry and BDV are not.
The problem is there are too many, we cannot have all these big guys. Look at the RR, look at the EC, its over the top. There are too many that we end up with sluggish big guy vs big guy fights.

you make a good point.we are expected to think of these guys as unstopable monsters, but if you had just became a fan then why would you think that after seeing them get there ass kicked week in week out.If someone turned onto wrestling today they wouldn't understand why people where making a big deal out of Kane because they nevew saw him kicking ass years ago.

You can conclude this statement once the Undertaker lost in a WM match As perverted as my topic title is ... cut me some slack. What I mean is that back in the day you'd have big men like V, Henry and Umaga just come out and crush people ... even if they were just jobbers, they'd dominate ... so when a ***** face beat em' it was a big deal.
