OK, so we all know about the controversy about the attendance at WM 3. We know both sides of the story. The official stuff says 93,173 while other sources claim around 70,000.
In any case, the WWE lists the record at 93,173. My question is will they keep the record or will they allow another event to finally get over it? Say WM 24 got 93,180. Will they mod the numbers to keep WM 3 as the record high, or will they allow the record to be broken? Well... "officially" I guess.
What do you think?

They would let the record get broken probably. Tradition has gone out of the window in the past year.

I think it matters on how strong the main event is. WM 3 got their numbers on the strength of the main event, Hogan vs Andre. That's what really got people in the building. Now days, Wrestlemania doesn't really need a super main event to sell, it sells because it is Wrestlemania. But to have the record broken by a show with a lackluster main event may not be as interesting in the history books. IMO.

If it's officially broken, then for sure they will let it be broken.

Well, this year I think Orton/Hunter/Cena maybe be seen on paper as a huge Main Event, as its 3 of the most popular and most liked/talked about superstars in Sport today

But Hogan V Andre, could only of taken place at that show. I personally can't see it being broken, unless it went to Wembley Stadium in England, where it would get a sell out of 90,000, plus another 5,000 on the floor.

lol, WWE is having a hard time selling off even half the tickets to Wrestlemania this year, and that's only 70,000 seats, there's NO WAY in hell they'd ever come close to 90,000+
