They basically use the ECW Championship now the same way they used the Cruiserweight, only it has no weight limits. It's just a tester belt to see if people can get over as a Champion, or do well as a major Singles Competitor. The ECW Championship, is now the European Championship, tbh.
If they used the likes of the Intercontinental Title, Tag Team and US Championships properly, with real strong fueds, then the World Title Matches would be worth twice as much.

I liked the CW title tbh, prepare for a lot of guys to be released. I think it's one step closer to SD and ECW becoming one and the ECW title (or the extrem title) will replace it.

It's not just the CW.. it's ALL the titles. The last IC titl defense was TWO seconds long, MVP hasn't defended the US title on a PPV since Matt got hurt, The tag titles don't mean crap (when was the last time they was defended on PPV), The ECW title means nothing either. Face facts unless your a world champion your title doesn't mean crap to management. Midcard titles make the world titles mean more.

Im disappointed to say the least. I think it would be cool if they brought back the Hardcore title in its place. Highly unlikely though. It would be nice but there is not alot of wrestlers with the "Hardcore moveset" to even defend the title.

No, THAT belt actually had prestige. The one you're thinking of looks like this: I don't know..... Did you actually watch ECW? If you did you'd know that he was a credible champion there. (no pun intended)
