I remember Cena had an Interview ages ago in a WWE Magazine, and he was asked if he where to pick anyone on the roster to tag with, it would be Randy Orton.

They both worked so well together. That throw up RKO was sick. Ya know I had hoped that we were finally starting to use this word in its actual meaning instead of describing something, I got so excited when i saw the words Throw Up and sick in the same sentence but damnit you kids again have let me and the world down.....

yeah they were awesome together. When cena and orton did that double team RKO i was pumped. That was wicked cool! I would love to see them team up for awhile and have HHH feud with someone in the title picture.

1997 called, they want their storyline back : That is honestly what I was thinking.

I hope not. The tag team division sucks now and I look forward to randy orton's matches and I would really hate for that to get ruined with every orton match also being a Cena match.

Although a lot more people are against turning Cena, in comparison to those that'd like to see that trigger pulled... I personally think, as a make-shift heel tag team, they'd be great.
Much like Edge & Orton, it keeps two main event qualities wrestlers in the spotlight and strong, without having them in the immediate title picture.

1997 called, they want their storyline back : That is honestly what I was thinking. Not to double-post but I had that pairing in mind, just rather see both guys disliked. In the case of Austin/Michaels, Michaels already stole his own idea with Cena.

YES! (x1,000,000)
They have amazing chemistry. And some of those combos last night....wow! I was really surprised because going into last night, I was expecting a horrid match. They came through in a big way there. ;D

I definitely agree, the best thing about that is Cena and Orton are my two favorite wrestlers currently. I actually was quite entertained by the main event, and thought as a tag team they just meshed very well. They both complimented each other, and I marked out last night when Cena tossed Cody Rhodes, who I actually am not a fan of at all, right into the RKO, that was awesome. Cena and Orton rule, what I wanted to see is Cena and Orton working together to take out HHH, that would have been the perfect ending. It seemed like Cena and orton were actually not even feuding during the match making it better. If Cena and Orton were to win the tag belts on RAW next week, I would mark out big time.

1997 called, they want their storyline back : since this gimmick was done before 1997 & it was megapowers. so you are wrong. it ain't a 1997 gimmick . also there is nothing original in wrestling . wrestling is about redoing gimmicks for years.

Holy crap, could you be more wrong and obnoxious? The Mega Powers were friends in kayfabe and never won the Tag Titles. When Savage and Hogan started to hate each other, especially with Savage's heel turn after the whole Liz/Twin Towers/Early match ditch-out angle, they STOPPED teaming. In 1997, Michaels and Austin HATED each other, but co-existed to defeat a common enemy and win the Tag Titles. COMPLETELY unrelated to anything with the Mega Powers. Now, I'm not arguing that the angle had been done before 1997, but I can't think of any major cases of the same angle. As to the original post, no, I don't agree. Keep main eventers out of the tag division. Besides, hitting a few variations of your finishers is NOT "tag wrestling." Far from it, really.
