So I'm on netflix and I get a popup saying my network bandwidth has changed. Now...when bandwidth is exceeded, service is shut off. But instead my picture quality just goes down and keeps playing. And I'm on here on my iPod, so obviously I have service. I called Comcast and the lady said I hadn't exceeded my bandwidth. Any ideas what the is going on?

It's possible that some other device turned on (your iPod for example) that caused enough interference for your 360's connection to slow. Otherwise, it could be that your internet connection in general has been slowed. If anyone in your house is downloading lots of files or large files, that can put a hurting on your download speed.

Hey guys, i had an xbox 360 for a little over 2 years now and surprisingly i just now started XBOX live, i'm thinking about picking up a XBOX Love Points Card tomorrow, just wanted ro know if it is pretty simple to install and redeem? any help would be appreciated, Thanks

If you live alone, then likely culprits are other devices in the vicinity of your Xbox that are affecting the local bandwidth, or people using your wi-fi without your permission. Any wireless devices nearby (cell phones, home phones, other gaming consoles, wi-fi enabled mp3 players, some TVs) can cause interference which would degrade the quality of your connection which would cause issues with download speeds as far as the Netflix app is concerned. Are you broadcasting your network name? If so, do you have a password for your network, and if so, is it encrypted with WEP or WPA?

It could have just been that Comcast was having a lot of users since users close to one another split bandwidth and if someone near him was dl'ing something it would have slowed it down. But yeah like I told you L.L.L.B.D. I wouldn't worry about it too much, most likely a hiccup or clog on their part not yours.

Yeah, if you're WPA and there's nothing that would suggest you're having a lot of interference, then I wouldn't worry about it unless it happens more. If it happens again, run a speedtest (speedtest.net) on your desktop and see if your speeds are really slow. If they are, it's a Comcast issue, due to either high load or something along those lines, but something worth calling them about since you're paying for a certain expectation of speeds.

That's it. I've tried EVERY single freaking tip Microsoft has given me, and I can not download this gay update. What did Microsoft support say after you called them and told them this? I called them before I did all of the tips. They told me to reset my router, which I did, and clear my cache (which I've already done many times before). They basically told me to do stuff I had already known or did. I really hope Microsoft comes out with a patch for this soon.

Well my headset finally died after 3 years. I need a new one. Anyone know of any deals going on at the moment, wired or wireless? I'd like to know too, my headset isn't dead yet but it's pretty much on life support thanks to a generous amount of electrical tape.
