On a side note, I hate looking in my basement and not seeing an XBOX 360. But I will on Saturday. Instead I see that piece of crapgamecube in there

I just don't like how the weapons seem to be over powered in Halo 2. The sword is beast and the needler you can kick ass with. The needler was pretty weak for the most part in Halo... it's a beast in Halo 2. I miss the orginal Pistol, I loved having matches where that was the only weapon me and my buddies would use. The needler is not a ing beast. The only way you can get a kill at all is if you dual wield. I much rather have the sword than the sniper-pistol, personally. Besides, the pistol and the weak needler were unbalanced. I wouldn't mind the sword if it didn't have unlimited use. It's way too powerful though and I try to avoid it at all times. I do love The Carbine though. During single player and multi-player I could just go a rampage with a needler. I just enjoyed Halo's multi-player more because it was more challanging. I love both though because I heart Halo in general.

It was more challenging because I had to walk all the way across Sidewinder to score one flag against my brother who was too preoccupied drawing a penis on the wall of his base with his pistol.....

I'm actually going to play Halo on the computer now. It's not bad. I have a computer controller, and you can play online. Oh well, it'll hold me until Saturday

I find it more challanging because I think the weapons were not as powerful. There let's leave it at that.
BTW, does anyone else here find BFME II to be easier than BFME?

My CPU couldn't handle either, hence me buying BFME II for the 360. Tis very handy. Great fun as well.

Which is good because my Hollywood Video doesn't have it, I don't have gamefly, and I don't want to spend 60 bucks on a game I may hate.

The game is a blast, very short though. I went through the good side and now I'm on the dark side. I don't like how it's only 8 missions in one order, in BFME you had like 25 different missions to do and then stuff like Minas Tirith, Black Gate, and Helms Deep.

I seen on TXB last night that Dead Rising is confirmed to be releasing on August 8th. Anyone else interesting in it?

Dead Rising looks like great fun. Can't wait for it.
Also I partially bought BFME II because my brother is a big LOTR buff, so even if I hated it, he'd still play it.

Xbox Live attach rate has grown 50 percent, from Xbox to Xbox 360; Live Anywhere the next stepSpeaking at the Develop Conference in Brighton, England, Jeff Sullivan, a developer relations managers for Microsoft's Games Technology Group, reported that the attach rate for Xbox Live amongst Xbox 360 users is now up to 60%. By comparison, the original Xbox gained a mere 10% attach rate. Of course, the ability to create a gamertag out of the box, and thereby surf the virtual marketplace for free and premium downloads, has certainly helped the phenomenal growth of Live on Xbox 360.
The next step for Microsoft is to open up Xbox Live to our PCs, an initiative that's been deemed 'Live Anywhere.' Halo 2 for Vista and Shadowrun will serve as guinea pigs for this ambitious mulit-platform project, which will also span mobile phones. Given that many potential console gamers will have Vista PCs, and most will own cell phones, Live Anywhere could be an unrivaled draw for consumers a year or two from now. That's pretty cool that over 60% of 360 users have live. Granted, this is Live Silver and Gold. Also, I wonder how they'll do the pricing with Live Anywhere? If it's free, the Xbox Live Gold people will feel shafted, if it has to be paid for, PC Gamers probably won't buy it.

Yea I'm pretty big on LOTR myself. The game is good though, I loved being the dwarves. Atleast I can be aragorn, gandalf and such in skirmish.

Well, considering for it to have any impact on me whatsoever, I'm going to have to either buy Vista or a $500 phone, I am holding my thoughts on Live Anywhere. Wait, I can play hot titles like SHADOWRUN with my PC friends? Wait, Shadowrun isn't a monster hit, and I don't have any PC friends.

I'll rent it simply because it's FPS, but it looks very bland to me....

I'm planning on getting Vista simply because the interface is just so god damn sexy. Also, I would love to be able to kick my brother's PC-playing ass with my 360.

The general concept behind it is unoriginal to say the least. It's a FPS with magic.
