There goes another game I have to get this year. I loved HL2 on Xbox. Hopefully some game or games get delayed. When I heard it was coming to 360, I was hoping for a release this year.

I think it's very cool that they're packaging the first two (and only by the time the game launches) episodes with Half Life 2. It makes me glad I didn't buy the Xbox version because I'd feel pretty shafted to know that the 360 version's coming out.
By the way, the demo for BFME II is out. I'm gonna see if it's downloaded and check it out.

I bought HL2 for Xbox and I am going to buy it for 360, I loved the game and thought it was one the better FPS I've ever played.
BTW, Humanhead might be right when they say on the back on Prey that the FPS of the year is your hands. Game is great so far, I hope it doesn't lose any steam later in the game. If it's this fun all the way through then it has to be in the mix for GOTY.

Since it's already more than half way through the year, what is everyones front runner for GOTY?
My front runners would be Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Advanced Warfighter. I would put in Prey and BFME II but I have not completed Prey yet and I am still working on the evil campaign in BFME II.

EA announced today that they are making a new LOTR game for PS3 and Xbox 360. It's LOTR: The While Council, it's going to release in late 2007. It sounds pretty good, you can choose what race you want to be (Man, Hobbit, Dwarf or Elf) and it says you can walk freely through middle earth. Good news for me, I love LOTR so I hope it turns out well.

I don't know if I'll get HL2 because I have it on the PC, even though I have un-installed it. I don't see it being worth 60 bucks if that is the price. I heard episode 1 was like only 15 to 20 mins long.

I've heard that HL2: Episode 1 is 4-6 hours long. I heard it from several members on TXB. I highly doubt Valve would charge $20 for a 20 minute game.

Sorry, maybe it was 4-6 hours that I heard in a video review on some web site, I don't know where 20 mins came from.

So HL2 single player, 4-6 hours on episode 1 and then episode 2 all for $60. Seems like a great deal too me.

I'm stuck in oblivion. After the king guy dies in the begining you have to give something to some guy.... well i go i got out of the sewers went through like the woods and went into like some cave (or sewer) thing(my compass said to go here). I get past the first part but the second part some like zombies or werewolves and like 5 skeletons come and i cant kill them i attack and attack but they dont die.... then i try and run to the door but it says like something is stopping you from going through. it seems abit hard to understand but try to help please...

I finally got XBOX 360 I sold my gamecube and games, which I got around $140 for (a lot more then I thought I'd get). So I bought the system, a wireless controller, a charger for the controllers, and the table tennis game. I know there are better games out there, but I enjoyed it when I played it, and it was $40 as opposed to the good $60 games. My next game I'm thinking of getting is Burnout: Revenge. Thanks to all who have answered my ?'s in the last few days. I'm going to start playing soon. Oh and since it's my b-day soon, my parents paid for $200 as my b-day present. So after that and selling the gcube stuff, I paid $195
