That had me laughing for a few minutes there. The first thing I saw was the date and thought for real that RB: The Beatles was going to be postponed.

Well, GH1 GH2 GH:80's GH3 GH:A GHWT GH:M GH:SH GH5 GH:VH DJH BH Technically that's 12. That's just ridiculous. They really are milking the "Hero" name. That makes 9 games with the "Hero" name since Never-vision took over full rights to the Guitar Hero name. Just shy of 2 years! Oh, nd that's just the console games! There's been 3 on the DS as well! On Tour, On Tour: Decades, nd On Tour: Modern Hits. Notice the HMX releases of GH. 3 in 3 years. GH1 in 2005, GH2 in 2006, nd GH:80's in 2007. At least with the RB releases, there's not new tracks with every single release of the RB name. Sure the AC/DC (18) pack was new, nd the Country pack (13) nd upcoming Metal pack (4) have new tracks (which will be released eventually) but the Classic Rock pack, nd Track Packs 1 nd 2 were comprised of previously released DLC. But even still, the new tracks only total up to 35. Not 40-50+ every single disc. Guess that's what makes me the most disappointed with how Never-vision has handled the GH name.

Anyone here who (will admit to the fact that they) owns all twelve?

Also don't forget, there are 3 DS games, and another on the way.

Anyone here who (will admit to the fact that they) owns all twelve? Plus GH2 twice owned, one on PS2 and 360. The only one I don't own at this point is GH: Modern Hits on DS.

I found this funny.
Well no f***ing s**t! Of course there will be more sales for the Guitar Hero name over the Rock Band name, when there is a game featuring the Guitar Hero name released every 2 months! I bet if Rock Band released a new game or spin-off every 2 months like GH, there would be more sales.
Oh, nd I am going to bring this up. There are more songs available via DLC for Rock Band than there are available in the entire Guitar Hero franchise.*
* - This was as of Smash Hits. Not sure since GH5 came out, nd with VH coming out too. I still will guess that RB has more tracks.

Yeah, that's why I haven't bothered buying it. Of course I'll have to at some point just so I can continue to have all of the games.

Another thing that I dislike about Guitar Hero is really it emphasizes more of the money, fame, and girls, whereas Rock Band focuses on the music, which if you actually want to be well known as a musician, is what you have to love.

That ad was hilarious.
I find myself really choosing sides at this stage of the game. After I got tired of Guitar Hero World Tour after a mere month, I gave up on the Guitar Hero franchise entirely. Rock Band, to me, is an all around better game in every way, shape and form. I have absolutely no interest in Guitar Hero 5, or any of the other crap they plan to put out this year.

Quick question.
I put in GH3 today and found that my Dropkick Murphey's track pack is gone.
I looked it up and it's no longer available.
Is there ANYWAY to get it back again?

Exactly. If you are only in it for the money, you will fail fast. It takes a long time to get started in the music business these days, nd you have to pay alot of dues before you get taken seriously. GH makes it look like you can just jump right into superstardom. Rock Band, you have to earn fans to play different venues, win your transportation, choose your management, etc. That's how the music business is today. Well, any business for that matter, wrestling included.

I actually kinda like the blue one. The red/orangish looking one just looks like a Beatles-styled shirt.
