Finally got a copy of GH:5 from my crappy old Family Video. Haven't played it yet though. All I can say though is that there are a lot more song's I'm interested in playing compared to GH:WT.

I agree to that. There are some songs I would like to play on there, just not enough for me to have pre-ordered it, or been at Game Stop on launch day to buy it. Well, Bat Country is my last sang song until I get my Xbox back. It RROD last night, but it's still under warranty, so I've got the repair request in. I just need to get to the UPS Store to mail it out.

I got back to my cousin's apt. at quarter after 12, threw it right in, nd played through till like 0700 the next morning. Finally went to bed then, nd had to work at 2 in the afternoon, so needless to say I was tired.

that hard solo in "21 Century Schizoid Man"! I tried like 4 times till I gave up I love that song, but I can only play Guitar on it. Can't sing since there are only 3 sentences. RB drum's broke and I'm really not good with the open notes on Bass. But beside that nothing really wrong with it. Except that if you have a guitar with broken Whammy bar(And I do). So when ever you hold a note, the Guitar sound's all ed up

Beatles Rock Band is great, the new instruments are awesome. And Lego Rock Band is just too adorable to pass up.

Finally bought myself a mic stand so I can sing and guitar at the same time. Moron that I was, I forgot a mic clip. Oh well, looks like I'll have a hold off a wee bit longer.

Do the free Pepsi songs expire? And how often does the list update? Still have five and I have every song on that list that I want If you have DLC-winning codes, you need to pick a song by the 30th of this month, or they will void out. If you have the token already, just haven't taken the time to download the song, you have until Dec. 31 to use the token. Thanks. Any idea if they'll update the list before the 30th?

I don't have a clue. They sporadically updated in July with Green Day nd the Mayhem Fest songs, but no update for August at all, until the announcement was made for this past Tuesday's DLC. This most recent update gave us what they were going to up to what had been released already. So maybe later this month, when more DLC is released, we'll get one more update.

You also can only input codes until 11:59 PM on the 13th. So, put them in by then, redeem by Sept. 30, and redeem XBL or PSN codes by the end of the year.

Especially considering after GH5, RB:TB and GH:VH it will never get played. I may rent it or buy it at a severely discounted price.

I'll definitely get Beatles, but it's taking a lot for me to overlook the no export aspect of it. Can LEGO be exported?

Lego Rockband songs have been confirmed to be exportable. The Beatles: Rock Band can't be exported but will have full album DLC.

I don't know what it means, but in the build here, there was a heading for Rock Band 2 in Lego Rock band. It might just mean that it was place holder text, but it was kind of interesting.

Oh yeah. I forgot to talk about it. The Harmonix Panel was flipping great. It was all about RBN and how exactly it works. It's sort of amazing to watch it happen. They had Jonathon Coulton play a song, then they showed everyone how the process of taking the master tracks and put them in a game then immediately export them an Xbox and then they played it. And part of the process involves a piece of software called Magma. Why is it called Magma? Because magma is where rock comes from.
Also, they was Nickleback hating going on. And I signed up to be a peer reviewer. We'll see how that goes.

They were telling a story about how the New York Times claimed that the name of Rock Band Network was codenamed Rock Band: Nickelback and that's totally untrue and ridiculous. Then they mentioned the hate Nickleback has expressed towards Rock Band, and offered an olive branch to them on RBN, then the entire audience booed and they all laughed and told us that we could peer vote them down.
From the sounds of things, they've been working on it since Rock Band 1 days. They brought in the ScoreHero guys months ago preview things and thye were totally shocked. And they freaked out, because on the RB forum some guy wrote up an in depth analysis about how he thinks the "future of DLC will lie in the hands of the artists" and his idea was almost exactly what RBN was. Then they shared a few of the "You're and idiot" forum replies to the guys idea.
