I'm kind of getting tired of no good topics to reply to in here, mainly because everything has to be constrained to the official console topics. Anyway, so my first question is this. Are you obsessive over your consoles, video games, accessories, etc.? What I mean is, do you like to inspect the quality and well being of your games? Are you worried that somethings going to break? Do you panic when your system freezes thinking it's time to send it in? I used to be really bad about this, and I still kind of am. To me, it's apparent that I'm not the only one. I see a lot of posts on the internet asking "my 360 did this, is it ok?" or, people asking if they should buy a PS3 because of the failure rate. I miss the days where I never thought about that. My NES still works for God sake, but my 360 died in less than six months. I know technology is a lot more sophisticated now than it was then, but at the same time, you'd think with all the advancements we'd be able to get some long lasting electronics. Now, I'm listening for sounds my systems make, I look for slowdown, I check for dust a lot, I make sure my discs aren't getting scratched. Anytime something kind of messes up I freak out. It's sad.

I just make sure the discs aren't scratched and everything that is battery powered has working batteries.

I'm very cautious with my 360. I never turn it off using the button on the console, I always go to the dashboard first, remove my disc then turn it off.

I try to take care of all of my electronics, as best as I can. I even go as far as making sure my game cases don't have scratches, and things of that sort. I'm a big game-case guy, lol. I dust my consoles everyday as well. The main thing is, that I'm worried every time I turn on the 360

I tend to feel like I'm the only one in my house who knows how to properly protect the games/systems. If my brother asks to borrow a game and take it somewhere, I always picture it coming back in pieces. Neither of my 360s have broken yet, and I guess falsely credit that due to my extra stingy care of them, Even though if they were faulty they would have broken no matter what I did to them. So to answer your question, yes.

I don't do anything too extreme. I mean, I keep the discs in the case or the console, but other than that, not much. I guess that's the good thing about have Microsoft and Nintendo Controllers. They (or at least mine) are very durable.

I'm a freak about my games and console, my controllers on the other hand, need to be replaced a tad too much.

I dust down my PS3 everyday & have a cloth covering it when I'm not using it.

the amount of money you pay for consoles, u'd be stupid not to look after them...
i've had no problems with either of my 360's (Premium and Elite) but then again, i do take great care of them...
so much so, the plastic covering on the disk tray, is still on them...
im very wary of lending games to people too...i really lend them with the instructions, only to people i reallt trust, and if they come back to me in a worse state then when i had them, they dont lend any games again...
