Websites such as: IGN 7.5 Gamespot 9.0 1up 7.8
are mixed with what they give it as a rating....is it worth the $60 or should i put it towards Uncharted or URTIII?

Since when are high sevens bad ratings? I mean seriously? Not every game that you buy has to be a masterpiece that rakes in mid range nine reviews. A high seven is a damn fine review.

I've played it and the story is interesting. The gameplay is good too. I would get it over uncharted and urt3.

I have it and I love it. But take your time with it, dont rush through the game, it isn't meant for that. There is alot you can do with it so take your time and enjoy it.

Yes, it is absolutely worth it. Its addicting, fun and a challenge. Also what other game right now can you assassinate people with a hidden blade that replaced your ring finger.

Its pretty good, but I do find it a little dissapointing. Still, go for it over UT or Uncharted, wait for a price drop with those two.

I would say no. The first time you play it, its really good. But at the same time, the stupid ing storyline ruins the game. Also, after going through all the cities, you realize that you do the exact same thing over and over and over and over for each assassination. Only reason I don't regret buying it, is because I only paid 10 bucks for it after trade ins. But if I had spent 60 bucks on this game, I would be PISSED.

I have it and enjoy it. The storyline is somewhat stupid, but I love playing in the middle ages and the combat is fun. I have spent most of my time just roaming about the kingdom in search of flags and templars and I had a blast doing so.

It's a fun enough game, but pretty repetitive I got bored with it and just started killing people that pissed me off (AKA just about everyone)

A high seven is a damn fine review. true. every game varies from person to person. i mean one person could love the game and another could hate it. it all depends on you. maybe you should rent it first.

The gameplay is great, the storyline could've been great if the modern day crap had been left out.

So I've heard its good, try it out.
Rent it from blockbuster or hollywood video first then let that effect your decision on purchasing the game.

I have it for PS3 and it is good but Uncharted is more fun if you have a PS3.
