If your internet hasn't already exploded, please be warned that here are lots of images of decent resolutions which may cause loading issues on 56K modems. [/size] So yeah, I think it was a (generally) unanimous opinion that last night was awesome. It lasted longer than I expect and while certain people didn't show up that I thought would, the turn out was much better than Game-A-Thons of yore. That may have to do with unscheduled arrivals, but meh. First, I'd like to explain off the bat that in tracking stats I chose to leave out stats from games of Michael Jackson, since it really only padded the stats of Michael, and Snowballs, since it only showed the stats for each player that they had while on that team, which means if you got 1000 kills on the purple team but it was the green team that won due to absorption, then you got no credit for it. I also gave both members of a Rocket Race pair the points so that no one gets screwed out of possible points because he was always the drivers. Here's the stat-card (and yes, that is an Excel spreadsheet): Now, I'll hit you with the awards. The First Award, the Killing Machine Award, goes to the player with the highest kill count The Cannon Fodder Award celebrates individual excellence in dying so that others may live The Team Player Award celebrates an individual excllence in getting kills stolen The Suicide Watch Award goes to the player who decided that he should be the one that chooses his fate. The Fratricidal Maniac Award goes to the player who doesn't see race, or team color for that matter, and sees everyone as a potential target. The Ball Fondler Award goes to the player who is able to hold on to a round object all the way to the finish. The Mongoose Rider Award (I really couldn't think of an innuendo-laced version of this) goes to the player who was both a great chauffeur and a great backseat driver. The I'll Eat Your Family Award goes to a player who went above and beyond the call of duty in trashtalking. The Greaves of Grief Award goes to a player or players who fought the law and found out the hard way that the law wins. (By the way, the first person who can figure out both parts of the wordplay in that award title will get an award) The Friggin' Wuss Award goes to a player who was conservative in his playing, getting few kills or death. This was only applicable to people who participated in the event for a large amount of time. The Died in a Fire Award goes to a player whom the majority have agreed their dissappearance was attributed to death by incineration. And finally, the Gametype that Needs a League Award goes to a gametype or gametypes that... need a league. And before I totally close out the "Awards Show", I'd like to present a photo gallery from all of the players who have posted pictures from the game-a-thon. Actually, I really didn't hear the trash talking. I don't really give a crap about crap talking, since I participate in it myself. He got booted because he intentionally left the pitch/field/arena/other-nationality-based-name-for-the-place-where-Grifball-is-played after I told him and explained. So yes, he gets an award for acting like he's rebellious when all he's doing is being a douche.

You're as right as anyone was going to be. The word-joke is that Frankenstalker was griefing and so he got the Greaves (which are huge metal boots).

I get it because greaves are metal boots and you booted Frankenstalker.Who actually wanted to re-join the game after but you said don't re-invite him.

Honestly, if you had invited him back in, I would have re-booted him. And it would have became a game within our game.

honestly, you should do these like once a month. See, I agree, but I also think that if it's once a month it should be a bigger event, like with a couple games. I think I need to bring back the full-blown WF Live with Stat-Tracking and stuff. I wish my brother's server still had my website because that'd be a nice way of organizing it.
