No lol. I watched the first one and I thought it sucked. Finally, someone who agrees with me. I hate the first Underworld flick too for some reason.

I never bothered watching Underworld. Just looks too "Blade" for me and I personally despised the first two Blade films.

From Bloody Disgusting:
After a highly successful first season, Showtime and creator Mick Garris are already working on Masters of Horror (all reviews) Season 2. But the question remains who will the next round of 'Masters' be? A mix of the old and new- creator/executive producer Mick Garris confirms that John Landis, Stuart Gordon, Joe Dante, Tobe Hooper, John Carpenter and himself will be back, according to Fangoria. Regarding directorial newcomers, “Brad Anderson is one of the new faces on board this time,” Garris reveals. “I’m a huge fan of his 'Session 9' and 'The Machinist'. We’re trying to lock up several others, but schedules this year are increasingly difficult to coordinate. We hope to have Guillermo del Toro and Rob Zombie on board as well.”

Hmm, so it takes two films (Rob Zombie) to become a master of horror.

He's a master of horror in my book I totally agree. House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects are two of the best horror-related films of the last decade.

I've only seen Devil's Rejects on pirate, but it's a ing awesome movie in my opinion, and it's just such great acting and the characters are amazing...I really need to get both his movies.

Takashi Miike's Masters of Horror film Imprint is not gonna be shown. Mick Garris says its the most disturbing thing he's ever seen and its too horrific for Showtime. It is however gonna be put on the dvd.
I think that's bullshit. The whole point of the series was to give horror directors the opportunity to do something they wanted to do and go all out. Miike does it, then they pull the plug on him? I don't like it one bit

Hmm, so it takes two films (Rob Zombie) to become a master of horror. Masters of Horror doesn't have anything to do with how many films you've directed. Hell, if Carpenter would stopped directing after Halloween, he would still be a master of horror to me.

Rob Zombie is a great director, yea he only did two films so far, but so what? Those two movies are awesome and great movies. Rob Zombie is a master of horror, hes ingenius with his movies and i cant wait to see his next movies whatever they are going to be.
Miike's film "Audition" is very brutal...im actually not surprised it was taken off showtime because of the violence rate..but for season two for Masters of Horror they should get Eli Roth and Alexandre Aja (high tension, hills have eyes remake) at least.

So who has seen Venom, which came out today on dvd? I've had a burned copy for like a month but I've never been motivated to sit down and watch it.

Any other Near Dark fans on here? I like Near Dark, and I know Suckasays is too, but I'm more a fan of Eric Red. Crazy son of a bitch. But he writes cool shit.
