Nothing beats a good Christmas horror flick. As mentioned, Silent Night, Deadly Night and Black Christmas are two of the best. I'll definetly be watching both of them in the next month.

I really don't remember ever watching any Christmas horror movies. I rarely get into horror movie mode during December heh.

HORROR NEWS FOR THE DAY- Brought by CaptainCharisma84 The Pulse remake trailer is online. The film, which hits theaters March 3rd, 2006, stars Kristen Bell, Steve Talley, Ian Somerhalder, Christina Milian, Corryn Cummins, Joseph Gatt, Rick Gonzalez, Samm Levine, Riki Lindhome, Christina Milian, Amanda Tepe and Jonathan Tucker. After one of their friends commits suicide, strange things begin happening to a group of young Tokyo residents. One of them sees visions of his dead friend in the shadows on the wall, while another's computer keeps showing strange, ghostly images. Is their friend trying to contact them from beyond the grave, or is there something much more sinister going on? The first image of the prequel of Texas Chainsaw Massacre called Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Origin is released onto the web. Click the link to see the image, the prequel comes out to theatres October 6th, 2006. www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=5277&Template=newsfullSatans Playground which stars Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), Ellen Sandweiss (The Evil Dead), and Edwin Neal (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), Danny Lopes and Christie Stanford is going to be released straight to DVD summer of 2006. A return to 70's and early 80's style, Satan's Playground is a heart-stopping supernatural shocker chronicling a family's spine-tingling odyssey in New Jersey's legendary Pine Barrens region. En route to a wilderness camping retreat, their car inexplicably breaks down. As darkness falls, panic sets in. Then the marooned family stumbles upon an ancient and seemingly abandoned house. And it is here that they meet the bizarre Mrs. Leeds (Irma St. Paule) who lives there with her equally unhinged children. Offering no assistance, she warns of a violent, unseen force lurking in the forbidding countryside. Soon, the family will encounter a supernatural evil older than the woods themselves. A short interview of Rob Zombie on Bloody-Disgusting.com www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=5270&Template=newsfull(i dunno if this has been posted) but the remake of George Romero's Night of the Living Dead will be released Limited January 27, 2006. White Noise 2 has been giving a new subtitle and a story plot. The story follows a man whose family is murdered and who himself is brought back from the brink of death. He soon discovers that he now has the ability to identify people who are about to die, and begins saving them from their demises—only to discover the perils of interrupting death’s plans. This has been the horror news of the day by none other than CaptainCharisma84. You stay classy...

Just watched Secret Window. I didn't think it was that bad, and I loved Jonny Depp's acting in it, especially the "RAH!" bit....

I thought I'd make a little post for a very underrated title to show my appreciation... Motel Hell -This is one film that gets passed over a lot. I didn't really dig on it the first time I watched it, but it really does grow on ya. How can you not like a conclusion that involves a psycho farmer sporting a pig head and swinging a chainsaw? Classic. The acting is actually fairly decent and the story is good too. It runs a little long, but the movie is still wonderful. I need to find the DVD... Anyone else love this movie?

Germans get a SWEET Hostel poster. Germany is weird. It's all artsy and David Lynch-like.

About Karen Black....from what I could tell at the Fangoria convention a few years ago she was just drunk the whole time and loud talking over everyone and obviously annoying Bill Moseley and Sid Haig. And she acted just like she did on camera. Just to touch on that, which was discussed a few pages back.
As for Masters of Horror, I'm downloading them since I don't get showtime, and I'm going to watch them all at once. I'll let everyone know what I think when I watch them. While I'm waiting for these discs to burn I'm going to go watch the rest of Wild Zero. Everyone should check that out, a japanese Rockabilly band made a zombie movie.
