I'd like to say possibly Fright Night, but I have a bad feeling about it. Yeah, Fright Night looks iffy, but who knows it could turn out decent. Apparently there is some shark movie coming out which is supposed to copy Piranha, but I've heard its going to be PG13. What a waste! Yeah Shark Night 3D is another one that I am debating on watching. I hate when they make horror movies PG-13, there should be a rule where horror movies have be rated R. |

I saw it, literally, about 8 months ago. Absolutely hated the hell out of it (I believe I awarded it 1 star). Horrible, horrible film.

Although I have yet to watch it for myself. The trailer looked okay. The only reason I would get it is if it were really cheap because it has one of the coolest looking slipcovers!! I thought Black Death was brilliant, one of the better films from last year. So far, I've loved all of Christopher Smith's movies that I've seen.

I don't see the hate for PG-13 horror, I mean, yeah, if they purposely edit it down to get that rating in order to get money then I agree, lame. But some movies don't need over the top violence and gore to be scary or suspenseful. This is coming from a seasoned gorehound.

Yourself? Its not really a bad case for this particular film, but I was just expecting it to be more in the R rated territory. I wasn't expecting a gore fest or anything, but I was expecting some blood and swearing. I mean, if you were getting attacked by aliens in space wouldn't you drop the f bomb more than once? Just wanted it to be more authentic. But if it delivers in the thrills and scares than non of that will matter! Trollhunter opened on a limited release here, but I wasn't able to catch it the first week and it's currently on the second week. Ends Friday. Don't think I'll be able to make it |
