Hmm..The Fog..Halloween.. I don't know, Carpenter has tons of great films. I wish he'd direct a new Halloween. Bring it back to the old school style

Well it is PG-13, so everything is going to end all cheery and happy. And the theatre is going to be full of little kiddies who think they are going to get some stinky on their pinky from their little girlfriend if they make smart remarks and heckle the screen. Definitely a "Wait for the DVD" film.

Definitely a "Wait for the DVD" film. You forgot the part where they think this movie is original and have no clue it's a remake. Seriously, when I see PG-13 horror the kids piss me off. When someone dies on screen "haha that guy got killed what a fag." Remarks like this is what makes me want to pull a Scream 2 opening.

lol yes...I'm pretty sick of little bunghole kids ruining my movie experiences. Horror movies shouldn't be pg-13 in any event

There are only a couple of PG-13 horror movies that are actually pretty good... I think John Carpenter should have remade The Fog himself just to modernize it. What the director/producer did to the remake of the fog changed most of the story and there was absolutley no gore/blood effects and there was mild violence for the most...the movie was overall bad. Heres an interesting article found at Bloody-Disgusting.com regarding the Black Christmas Remake: Cast Announced for 'Black Christmas' Remake! Michelle Trachtenberg has come a long way since starring in Nickelodeon's "The Adventures of Pete & Pete" as Nona Mecklenberg. After starring in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" for three years, she has broke out into the film world and has a handful of films now in production, one now being the remake of Bob Clark's classic film Black Christmas, which will be directed by Glen Morgan and James Wong (Final Destination). Read on for the skinny on her plus a few more who are set to avoid death...heres a link to the article... www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=5619&Template=newsfull

I've yet to see the Fog remake, but it sounds horrible. The trailer was enough to keep me away

I've heard nothingb ut good things about Venom, to be honest. I want to check it out. I heard it has a very 80's feel to it, which rocks.

Venom looks like a cool "slasher" type film. I heard bad and good things about it. I will probably rent it this weekend on DVD....after i go see Underworld:Evolution of course. Anyone else going to see Underworld:Evolution?

Anyone read Stephen King often? I never really did until recently. I picked up Skeleton Crew, a collection of bunch of his older short stories and i'm enjoying it

On a side note, for anyone who has Netflix. I just got my first couple movies today. On the return envelope, nowhere does it say my name and address, am I supposed to write that in? Or else how will they know its mine?

I hate reading novels, so no books here. Back when I had to read King books for school I would just watch his movies and take the tests lol.

I've read Pet Semetary. This is why I think this movie could use a remake. I love the movie. But it leaves so much of the book out that I'd love to see it done justice. Personally, I think a lot of Kings stuff needs to be redone other than Made for Cable movies.
On the netflix thing, you don't have to have your return address on there. They have scanner bars or something for when it returns to know who sent it back similar to Blockbusters computers.
