Box Of The Banned - Depraved & Corrupt I Spit On Your GraveLets be perfectly clear, 'I Spit On Your Grave' is not feminist masterpiece. It is not a classic in the rape and revenge genre. It is a total waste of time, and is complete rubbish. It doesn't matter whether you see a cut or uncut version it stinks either way. The rape scenes are not harrowing, and the dreadful overacting from the male characters during the rapes makes the whole sequence look laughable. The revenge taken after the rapes comes across as bizarre and awkwardly contrived, and just doesn't convince at all. To top it all, the portrayal of one of the rapists as being 'intellectually- disabled', probably to cause a bit more controversy, just comes over as crass and is deeply insulting to your intelligence. Now, there is the infamous "Bathtub" scene when the women slices of the mans....yeah. Now that was pretty bloody, but still could'nt save the film. Although this film is being remade later this year, so they should be able to get away with alot more stuff. 5/10] The only way I can watch I Spit On Your Grave is with the Joe Bob Briggs commentary.

So, what do you think guys? Is this thread dead? I've never seen it off the first page so often, granted I was MIA for a while, but this seems like the end.

It is always kind of slow this time of the year, plus all of the regulars are pretty busy. This thread will never die.

Lars Von Trier's "Anti Christ" Go now and thank me later. I meant to post that link. Looks so cool. Here's a trailer for CASE 39 with Rene Zellweger. A social worker (Zellweger) fights to save a girl from her abusive parents, only to discover that the situation is more dangerous than she ever expected. And it looks intellectually- disabled. Another lol-worthy bee scene much like in The Wicker Man.
