Wow after hearing things on Rob Zombies Halloween, such as many disses and all i watched it a few weeks back, and i want to say this. I did not find it bad, see i think that Zombie took the image of Micheal Myers and told his own story. Which definatly did not upset me at all, I found the kills to be nice, and I loved the blood and gore included. Like it definatly had more than the other Halloweens IMO. Pluse how he killed those kids who picked on him kinda added something to me. personally...and this is just a personal opinion... i think a lot of people (not all), but most diss rob zombie's halloween, because they feel if they do, then they will be considered knowledgeable when it comes to horror. people will always say, "halloween the original will be the best." well, that's a no brainer.. of course. all originals are. personally, i think if you're a fan of a series (freddy, jason, halloween).. i think you take any chance you get to see them on the big screen as a blessing. i will see rz's halloween 2 the 28th. i'm not going to go in there and say, "can't believe they couldn't leave the original alone." .. no. to even see mike on the big screen will make me happy. the original halloween will never be touched. everyone knows that. but to let that ruin your movie experience as a fan.. plain idiotic. shame a lot of people have turned into that way... and it's a shame a lot of people will going in the 28th and have nit picking their first priority instead of having fun.

Most people didn't like because it was a piece of sh*t, not because they are trying to sound cool.

I'm still very mixed on Zombie's Halloween. Part of me hates it, part of me finds it amazing.

Most people didn't like because it was a piece of sh*t, not because they are trying to sound cool. Exactly, when the best scene in a film is Ken Foree walking with Tom Sawyer playing in the background you know that something is wrong.

Personally, I've gotta disagree. I found F13 way better than the Halloween remake. I agree. Though I enjoyed about 80 % of Halloween, and thought it was quite a bit better than a lot of people make it out to be, I thought Friday the 13th was pretty much what I expected from a Friday the 13th movie. Some of the gripes that I have read about the Friday remake kind of make me laugh a bit. One of the funniest gripes is that the characters were all cliche and showed no substance. When did a Friday the 13th film EVER have a compelling character? I'm pretty sure that Jimbo and Ted talking about a false computer that says one of them is a "Dead " is not all that compelling. It's a fond memory of the series. But there is no substance to the characters. All of the characters in that series are there for one reason. To be killed off. They're never meant for us to feel sorry for them. They are just props and one (or sometimes more) happens to make it out alive. The only character in the entire series that really had any depth to him was Tommy Jarvis and maybe Tina the telekinetic chick. As a whole, I got everything I would expect from a Friday movie. I got Derek Mears doing justice to the role of Jason, and I had characters that made it very easy to root for him...Just like all 11 other Friday the 13th flicks.

I thought the Friday the 13th remake was one of the best horror films I've seen in years. It's easily one of my favorite films from the series.

I'd still like to know how the Tommy Jarvis character went from being in a mental facility because of how distraught he was over the incident that happened to him as a kid in part 5.....to Mr. Cool who's out to save the world while rocking the denim jacket and hitting on chicks in part 6?
