Bubble Boy was funny. When I say "funny" I mean find something to do for an hour and a half because you'll only laugh and the minute-long scene with Zach Galifianakis.

When Bubble Boy's mom picks up Vern (Mini Me) and goes "whew!" like she's picking up a baby, I was in tears. Granted, I was drunk as hell the first time I saw it, so it was probably funnier then than it really is.

Anchorman or Old School (if you like Will Ferrell) Revenge of the Nerd's/Porky's/Back To School (for '80's classic comedies) American Pie, Dumb & Dumber, Eurotrip, Road Trip...

Gangrel-Brood is right- no comedies worth watching were released recently. Classic comedies: Blazing Saddles, History of the World Part 1 & Young Frankenstein. Basically, anything directed by Mel Brooks, with the exception of Dracula.

How would one go about recommending a comedy? Everyone has their own sense of humor. I personally think Superbad is ing hilarious, but I can understand why some wouldn't like it.

I actually thought Hot Rod was very funny, even though it hasn't gotten a lot of love.

A lot of times the movies I catch on TV are funnier than the reviewers give them credit for. I found National Lampoon's Barely Legal and The Brothers Solomon to be pretty hilarious.
