Only song I've really heard (and love) by Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver are Creep (STP) and Slither (VR).
Anyone got suggestions of some of their best songs?

Man, I miss the STP. This Velvet Revolver stuff wasn't cutting it for me. I may be the only one here of this opinion, but I don't think that Slash is fit to be Dean DeLeo's roadie. he also has a very tacky fashion sense. that top hat? YUCK I seriously hope your kidding. Anyways I was never a big VR fan, I only liked a few songs, I just really do not like Scott's voice. I think Slash, Matt and Duff could do something waaaaay better.

They really shouldn't have picked a singer from an already established band. Yeah...the other band members are all established. But I think the main problem about picking the lead singer from another band is that no matter how hard they try it always ends up just sounding like the other band. That's how it is to me anyway. The tuning, the rhythm and all that have to be adjusted to go with the singers voice...and usually the singer does a big part of the writing and most vocalist continuously write the same type of material.
