As long as there's no "blonde broad wants to the gorilla" subplot like that last one, I'm for it. I liked the movie otherwise.

Yeah, that looks more like a prequal. Either way I'm sure it's going to suck.

Is this going to be with Peter Jackson again? If so, I may go see it. If not this is a miss for me.

No, this is an unassociated film, completely independent of Peter Jackson's King Kong. They are in no way related. Movies like this come out all the time.

Exactly...like Snakes on a Train...I think it's Asylum films that rips off films most. Actually, I didn't read the article in the top link, and obviously no one else did, because it explains that the movie is going to be based off of a comic book/graphic novel. So there ya go. And yes, Asylum does do many of those rip offs, along with a guy named Leigh Scott, who made Transmorphers, King of the Lost World, Pirates of Treasure Island, The Hitchhiker, and Dragon. He makes the absolute worst movies, they honestly get rented because people that shop at Blockbuster are too goddman stupid to realize that when Transmorphers came out Transformers was still in theaters, and that it was a completely awful movie. I mean, people used to honestly come in and demand their money back because it wasn't Transformers like the cover said. I would just read out loud, real slow "Trans-MORPH-ers. Yeah, different movie." When they say "How am I supposed to know" I'd say either "Well, it's still in theaters" or "By READING" or "Well, I guess some research is in order before you rent your next movie". The greatest line I ever used to say there was "We're not responsible for your dumb choices" when someone complained about the quality of a movie.

There's like 10+ Zodiac movies. Yep. You don't know how many times the situation I just described happened with Ulli Lommel's Zodiac Killer, people saying "Where's Jake Gyllenhall?" Obviously not in that one, stupid .

But I grew up on that movie and several other great movies like mighty joe young, the 7th voyage of sinbad, and jason and the argonuats. I loved peter jackson's remake though, I thought it was very well done and I dont really get an akward vibe when I watch the movie either.
