Is it not that long? I bought it today because I heard it was great but it came with like 5 other stories and the whole book was only about 300 pages long. I thought the story alone would be that.

I believe it's 170 pages exactly. It took me about 2 days to read, I remember I finished reading it on a break at work, I didn't realize it was that short either.
Needless to say, upon reentering Blockbuster, I said
"I...am...legend."

I wanna pick this up, I enjoy short books that only take a day or two to rush through and I wanna compare it to the film after seeing both.

I'll pick it up and give it a read if I enjoy the movie. Typically the book is better than the film, so I'll save the best for last.

Really, from the trailers alone, there is going to be no comparison. They took very thin concepts from the book, and decided to make it a Will Smith action picture, changing most major details that made the book good for absolutely no reason. But if you're going to watch the movie, at least read the book, so you know what a terrible movie you actually watched.

I actually flipped through a really good graphic novel of "I am Legend" a few nights ago. I contemplated buying it.

I read that, the one from Vertigo, it's like about the Outbreak that happens and how everyone becomes infected. I dunno, I read some of it, but it just wasn't as compelling as the book.
In the book you get none of that, it's just about Neville living as the last human.

Why does Sean keep getting deleted?

I was gonna read it, but then I saw Omega Man instead. That's how you roll for book reports.
