the title of the song was like a phone number and it started with 763 or something like that

The only thing I think of when I think of song with a phone number in the title from the 80s is "867-5309 (Jenny)" by Tommy Tutone, but that's not R&B, so I don't know.

Don't get mad with the people trying to nelp. Maybe if you gave a little more info, like about the artist, how the song sounded, what the artist looked like, what the music video was like, more specific on the year....it would help.
