I was going through my DVD collection when I stumbled upon my Bill Hicks DVD which I had not watched in around a year.
For those of you that have not heard of him here are a couple links to some of his bits.
So if you have heard about him talk about some of your favorite rants of his, these 3 being mine.

A lot of his stuff is as relevant as ever to the times.
Even though he had some obvious personal problems, I think that "ready to snap" mindset he had did a lot of good for his comedy. You can tell he means every bit he is saying. He's not the most funny comedian ever but that's not why I love him. He mixes dark comedy with motivational speaking and satire.
I've recently started getting bootlegs from unofficial/rare recordings. The infamous "I'm Sorry, Folks" show from Chicago has to be heard if you're a Hicks fan. He has just an awful audience and when they try to heckle him, he makes sure they know it.
Here's the marketing clip from his dvd:
I love his joke about gays in the military. Is that village of children and kids? WHERE'S THE NAPALM!? "I don't want any gay people around me when I'm killin' kids. I just don't wanna see it!"

Bill Hicks is great. It's a shame he left so early.
