Why he would even want to take credit for that is beyond me...

Seriously? Talk about someone who needs money and doesn't understand the words "reference" and "parody"

Here is a truth to live by. "If an act is done live ONLY, it can never be called your own" Like covering a song live is legal, but cover it on a CD without any copyrights, you're ed.

I guess they should be sued for all other references/parodies that take place in just about every single episode.

Do you guys know who the person suing them is?! It's Captain Mauser from POLICE ACADEMY 2. LOL Mauser, yauser yauser. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
Anyway, it's not like they mentioned this guy's name in conjunction with the joke. If Ned can go and steal halves of peoples acts and still claim they are his own, Family Guy shouldn't have a problem with a parody.
edit: I just looked him up on IMDB. It's true, someone from FG may have seen his act on The Tonight Show....back in 1971 since that was the last time he was on. Lame.

People will sue for anything these days. I will probably get sued just for saying that.

Who's to say that they even know who this guy is? It could be a coincidence that they thought up similar bits.
