So my really good friend loves Hitchcock's films and its her goal in life to see every single one. I figured for Christmas it would be nice to buy her one or a collection (since Deep Discount has some good deals) of them. The problem is I don't know which she has seen/owns which she still needs to see/own. I'm pretty sure she's seen all the most popular ones (Psycho, Vertigo, The Birds) so I don't want to buy those. Anyone have any suggestions on one that you think would be good to buy or a fair priced collection that would be nice to purchase for her? Sorry I don't have more info on which she has seen but if I ask she'll figure out what I'm buying her.

I actually quite liked 'Rope'. It was daring, unique and full of dark humor.
Obviously Rear Window is incredible.
Spellbound wasn't his best work, but still recommended( in particular for a really cool sequence....and Ingrid Bergman is hot.)
Strangers on a Train is also very well done.
All in all, you really can't go wrong with any Hitchcock film, the guy is a freaking genius.

rear window is fantastic, although if she's seen most of the popular ones she's probably seen that.

Rear Window's a true gem, but like K5 said she's probably seen it.
