Ike Turner, whose role as one of rock's critical architects was overshadowed by his ogrelike image as the man who brutally abused former wife Tina Turner, died Wednesday at his home in suburban San Diego. He was 76.
Damn. First Evel Knievel, now Ike Turner.
If Dom DeLuise is next, I'm gonna lose it!

i dont get why everyone cared about Evel, the one time i saw him in person and everytime ive seen him on TV...hes been a bitter bunghole over his son breaking his records. or just bitter. either way, the guy was a dick.
Cant say Ike Turner dying saddens me much.

Doesn't Timmeth live in the same neighborhood as Ike Turner? Yeah... it's quite sad. Our neighborhood is gonna miss him.. it was so cool having him around.. I went down there and saw them remove the body from the house. There were news cameras, friends and bandmates down there too. I got interviewed by 3 news places. That was cool, too bad it had to be under these circumstances. RIP IKE SAN MARCOS LOVES YOU! |
