breakdowns are dumb, and so hardcore dancing. Its like dude, your dancing, how is that hardcore? I have a friend whose a metal head and is into all that stuff. I just cant get into it. Most breakdowns ive heard are weak difficulty wise. It sounds like somthing you could teach an eight year old to play. And screaming isnt a talent, its an excuse for people who cant sing

To each his own, I suppose. It has become trendy to 'hate' Metallica, even though every metal fan liked them at one point in time during their lifetime. Whether they want to admit it or not, Metallica was a big reason that a lot of people are into the music that they're into now. i own and listen to ride the lightening, kill em all, mop, and even the black album and the occasional garage inc song from time to time... i enjoy metallica. it doesnt mean im gonna be annoying like half of the metallica fans on this board, and pretend nothing outside of Metallica/Megadeth exists. and that james hetfield kid is one of the worst people on the boards when it comes to that... megadeth rules.

Because I'm bored and have been listening to songs with breakdowns in them longer than most of you have had pubic hairs, I'm going to make a more detailed response to this post. Sorry for liking Metallica. Carry on. It's ok to like Metallica, but you're just believing in a farce if you like anything after the Black album, except for No Leaf Clover. Botch has some great breakdowns, check out To Our Friends In the Great White North and Micuragua, two crushing breakdowns. Such a good band overall though. Sugar Coated Sour by Dillinger too. ing insane. Botch is great, but I can't really get into them. Their cover of Rock Lobster absolutely rules however. And agreed on that Dillinger song . . . not so much on the new stuff. my favorite breakdown is the part in the fresh prince of bel-air theme song where he says his mom gave him a plane ticket so he might as well kickit it was so awesome that they took it out of the intro after like 3 episodes Before the remix of Bring the Noise with Anthrax, this breakdown, coordinated note by note between Will Smith and John Joseph of the Cro-Mags, bridged the gap between heavy metal and hip hop. In honor of Uncle Phil, they dubbed it "hip heavy." breakdowns are dumb, and so hardcore dancing. Its like dude, your dancing, how is that hardcore? I have a friend whose a metal head and is into all that stuff. I just cant get into it. Most breakdowns ive heard are weak difficulty wise. It sounds like somthing you could teach an eight year old to play. And screaming isnt a talent, its an excuse for people who cant sing Coming as someone who screams in a band, sorry not everything in life can be conducted vocally through a melody. Not everyone can convey their emotions like Mariah Carey. I'm pissed. I scream. Simple equation. And don't throw the word "hardcore" around when you don't know what it really is, and this goes for the entire teen-something-CM-Punk fanbase. For anyone who wants a real taste of hardcore, here ya go: And for actual breakdowns that I enjoy, well first you all lose for not mentioning Raining Blood. For shame. - Biohazard - Urban Discipline - Earth Crisis - The Order - Entombed - Chaos Breed - Converge - My Great Devastator - Buried Alive - Watching You Die - Napalm Death - Silence is Deafening - Ringworm - Birth is Pain - Nasum - Fight Terror With Terror - Anthrax - Indians - Integrity - Die Hard - The Funeral - Ruled by None - Metallica - Master of Puppets . . . seriously, I can go on.

New Dillinger is really terrible. It's like they just rehashed Panasonic Youth on all the techy songs, then the poppier ones are just bad anyway.

Blood For Blood - "Love Song"
Right around the :50 mark.
Don't know what the deal is with the video, but the lyrics in that part have always been some of my favorite B4B material.
