I just wish the origin had something like the story "The Killing Joke." Bah. The ".. like me" line is just delivered to perfection. I think I'll watch it for the rest of the weekend and then go see it with I Am Legend next week.

This movie should definitely be around two in a half hours. First half hour: Introduction of the Joker, Scarecrow dies for good. But Batman realizes he has a bigger threat now. Middle of the Movie: Gamble can be shown, but should be more of a background enemy. Batman finally gets confronted by the Joker. All the good orgasmic stuff. Movie ends with: The "half" scene. Doesn't seem too crowded, to be honest. Yep. Some people are acting like every villain will be just standing there at the exact time with nothing to do. I know it's cliché, but trust Nolan.

Saw the trailer with "I Am Legend". Nothing too spectacular. I do like Ledger, but I seem to be more attached to Nicholson. Maybe it's weird to me because it's sort of a "new vision" of Joker. We'll just have to wait and see.

The prologue's on youtube, in the worst quality ever witnessed. I turned it off after seeing Joker's f*cked up face that was hard enough to make out.

i saw "I Am Legend" tonight, didn't really notice anything new after seeing it on the big screen... but seeing it again did trigger a question in my mind. and i'm not trying to be overly negative against this movie, i don't find it "cool" to bash popular movies or anything like that, just saying... the basis of "Begins" and the franchise reboot in general was to make the series about BATMAN again. the Schumacher films, and even Returns, became spectacles dominated by eccentric villains who were played by high-profile actors. Nolan's schtick was that he wanted to return the focus to Bruce Wayne and Batman, and have the villains as more "secondary" characters... ...so i can't help but notice that this trailer features about 2 shots of Bruce Wayne(totaling about 7 seconds of screen time), and 2 shots of Batman(totaling about 3 seconds of screen time)... while the Joker is shown in 9 or 10 shots, and does the voice over for almost the entire trailer. and this isn't even factoring in Harvey Dent and his confirmed transformation into Two-Face, as well as reports that Scarecrow appears briefly as well. so where the hell do Batman and Bruce Wayne fit into this? As everyone else said, they're marketing the Joker. And with all the villains appearing, it's no different than Begins. Look at all the BB villains. The Scarecrow Ra's Al Ghul The League of Shadows Carmine Falcone and his mob/gang The Cops (sorta, like in the Arkham scene)

The high quality version will be in Quicktime in a matter of days. They did the same with Cloverfield.

There was a nice little nod to Batman in I am Legend. In the ruins of NYC you can see a billboard for a "Batman and Superman" movie, with the Superman "S" over the Batman logo. Its not important, but I figured it was worth mentioning. It got a nice little laugh from the same people that cheered the trailer. I noticed that, wasn't sure of it's significance, but a nice little curve ball. Kind of like Shrek, Marley, among other media moguls that catch your eye.

Lol, the person telling me im jumping on his bandwagon obviously thinks he's the only person who reads comic books. Yah, you're the only fanboy bud. ...im pretty sure i was trying to be like you when i had the Television logo of Batman tattooed on my leg. Adam West was a pimp.
Anyways, whoever said the comment that the movie is not about Batman/Wayne and more about Joker. I disagree.
See, I believe this movie will be obviously another look into Wayne's personal conflict with simply inhabiting the form of Batman, his mask, is all of the sudden, his identity and The Joker recogonizes this and blah blah blah, gets into Batman's head with them being not so much different at all, just standing for opposite causes. Joker is THE DEFINITIVE comic book anti-hero, because he is a psychotic genius and in the film, something Batman has never encountered, someone who he doesnt have the necessarily match in battle, but in strategy and intelligence. and i believe in this film, Joker will get into his head and push him to his limit, and push him further into becoming Batman and after he defeats him somehow, and then, in the third film, he will finally come to grip with who he is and what he must do for Gotham.
and in all honesty, The Joker and most villans are more interesting than Batman/Wayne. That's why they are marketing Joker. What should they do, show a bunch of clips of how Batman/Wayne get pushed by Joker, when those are im positive, would be major spoliers that would ruin the film for us.
Honestly, i hope the films ends with the "half" line also, hopefully Joker/Gable are killed, Gable possibly killed by Face , and Two-Face shows his face...and *blank screen*. I'd love it, and no, im not just following someone's comments to sound educated. Cliffhanger or not, it'd be damn awesome way to end it.
