I would have to say the nastiest villain I've ever seen in a movie would be General Woundwort from Watership Down, but in recent flicks I'd say That Yellow Bastard.  |

Bill the Butcher, right on Doomy! Every review of There Will Be Blood I've read have said DDL's Daniel Plainview is his meanest and most miserable character. F*ck, I've never wanted to see a movie so badly.  No contest. Word. |

I still say BtB was an overrated villian.
How any of you left off the Emperor from Star Wars is beyond me. The dude was like Hitler AND ordered to have Anakin mow down a bunch of kids. Plus as a kid, him shocking the crapout of Luke bothered me as he had absolutely no remorse.
Also, Ed Norton's character in American History X was pretty badass evil in his own right.......
As was that one bunghole in the Patriot...the one that shot Mel Gibson's sons.

Bill Cutting wasnt evil though, he showed compassion. He was a mob boss, but nothing sadistic and crazy like some others in this thread.
Honestly, did Krentist the Dentist say he wants to get into Meryl Streep?

Watch the movie again, he was a mob boss who took care of his city and his people (i.e. the meat to the families etc) He was conceited and arrogant, but thats what happens when you wore the crown, he mourned and respected the Priest every year and even let him die like an honorable man. I'd make the book report joke here, but thats too easy. |
