Alright so I just pulled the number 4 out of my head, I meant:
Hip Hop is Dead: TERRIBLE Gods Son: Ehhhh BAD Streets Disciple: TERRIBLE Nastradamus: TERRIBLE
So 3/5 have been terrible and 4/5 have been pretty bad

Hip Hop is Dead was the worst CD purchase I've made up until the day I bought 8 Diagrams... Wu-Tang royally ed me on that one.

Well, not matter what the CD has printed on it, ill judge his music on the quality, not the title of it.

Cannibal Corpse has dead bodies getting raped and stuff on their covers, but with a big parental advisory sticker over the whole thing. They'll probably do that for this, it's good publicity for Nas. I think.

Yeah, all the power to him. He's the one who has to deal with backlash, and God knows he'll have it. But hey, they don't even edit it out of movies/TV shows on cable anymore.

Hopefully it gets released with this title, but I don't think it will. And it'll probably be pushed back again..
As for Nas lately, to me God's Son and Street's Disciple were both average, but Hip Hop Is Dead is Nas best work since It Was Written to me. I really love that album.

If it gets released, Nas wont get "punished". It'll be all the white people who ask where the new album is.

I actually respect the fact that he wants to take the word, and make it have less of a "sting". Because he is absolutely right. No white man has ever been offended by the word cracker, so lets stop this offensive N word shit.

Do you think if he had he word spelt ''Nig ga'' instead of ''Nig ger'' there would be this much uproar over it? I mean let's face it the word ''Nig ga'' is an every day word for african americans, hell blacks endorse the word between themselves probably because it isn't spelt the ''racist'' way. Yet whichever way you look at it it is still racist to blacks yet they dont seem to give a crapunless a white man says it.

Nas' weakest album is amazing compared to most rappers, you can't convince that he's made a bad album.

Nas' weakest album is amazing compared to most rappers, you can't convince that he's made a bad album. Sure ya can, same with Jay Z and Wu, they have all gone soft and just boring. No one ever said Illmatic was weak, or Stillmatic and It Was Written and I am...after those 4 the dip is HUGE in his work Not to mention he cranks an album out a year, which is good for people who crave his music, but the product is weaker and weaker

Nas being mad over the criticism he's received is REALLY REALLY dumb. Seriously with an album name like that there HAS to be some sort of huge press releases explaining it even before the album cover gets released. People have the right to be offended. It's not a good business decision AT ALL.
Seems he'll fail trying to make it a "common" word. Do we really need it to be an everyday conversational word?

with nas, more like 1 1/2-2 years in between discs, hip hop is dead and will probably be near a full 18 months. Hopefully it gets released with this title, but I don't think it will. And it'll probably be pushed back again.. As for Nas lately, to me God's Son and Street's Disciple were both average, but Hip Hop Is Dead is Nas best work since It Was Written to me. I really love that album. i thought they were average too, and hip hop is dead, eeh, it wasn't as bad as people make it out to be, there were a few hidden gems on that tape (hustlers, still dreaming, hold down the block, who killed it?, etc) if you dont like illmatic you dont like america

I haven't liked a Nas release since Stillmatic, but I'll give it a listen anyway.

Hey, if you can't succeed on talent alone just be controversial. That basically sums up all Rap/Hip Hop Music
