This is similar to when Oliver Reed died during the making of Gladiator. The film will be released.
Still a huge shock and a blow for Hollywood.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Ledger was such a good actor. He was great in the patriot and a knights tale.
I hope to God that Warner bros. pays tribute to him at the end of The Dark Knight.
R.I.P Heath, you will be missed dearly!

It's hard to feel bad when he killed himself by being a dumbass. The facts have yet to come out for sure, but they believed he did of an overdose of drugs.

gotta love how 95% of the scum bags on this forum are freaking out about how this impacts the release of the Batman movie...rather than being concerned that the MAN is dead....people are like "They better release the movie God damnit!!!!"....... Seriously, I hope they never release this ing movie just so you pieces of slime don't ever get to see it, you don't deserve to see it for being so selfish and heartless. That's like when a wrestler dies and somebody in the figs forum goes " I just bought his figure too...what a waste of 10 bucks! " People kinda make me sick sometimes, not gonna lie

Holy smokes. When I saw the title, I was totally expecting Heath Ledger to be dead tired of something. Yipes.

This is really just horrible. One of the very very few celebrity deaths I've really been sad over.

And yet Brittany Spears lives on...
I wonder if Congress will now look into the rampant drug use in Hollywood.
I'm not trying to be insensitive but if he were a wrestler, WWE would be finished.

" People kinda make me sick sometimes, not gonna lie Exactly what I was going to say. Somebody died, here, and everyone is more concerned about the upcoming film he is in. That'd be like, if one of WF's members' father died - "But now who is going to serve me my morning cup of coffee at Burger King? I had a routine, damn it!" He may've died by drugs, but that doesn't take away what he did when he was alive. If people can so blindly praise Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, River Phoenix, etc. then we can at least appreciate what Ledger did. RIP Heath Ledger.

I feel sorry for his daughter.
If it was suicide or drugs though, I have no sympathy for him. Selfish in the extreme if that's the case.

It is a shame that he was only 28 years old. He had so, so many years of acting left in him.
