Yo se. I'd have to say the Allman Brothers. Anyone that says a newer band like Killswitch Engage seriously needs to find their musical roots.

The fan in me wants to say Guns N' Roses... but with four original studio albums, a cover album, a double live album, and a greatest hits record, its really hard to go there. Granted, what they have done is great, but part of being a great athlete is longetivity, and the same holds true for bands.

I say Led Zepp....damn. I know! The Bea.... damn. What about Russsshhhhhhit... I got it! AC/D.....DAMN! How about The Rolling St....I give up. I guess some would say Metallica, or Pearl Jam, who knows. I think the world's most monumental bands have been from overseas. We Americans are a bang-bang-bang kind of society, and recording artists reflect that. We're always looking for the next big thing, and to make a quick buck. Hence why so many of those American Idol people are in and out before you know it. Artists are shuffled in, and out as soon as something else comes along, making it hard for most of them to leave a lasting impression. Don't forget Pink Floyd Just curious, Rush are canadian right ?
