Yep. As soon as Halloween came out, all of these were announced. Even Child's play. Halloween is the only one I've ever liked out of any of them. So maybe they'll actually make some of these good for the first time ever. holy crap! a child's play remake??? If Brad Dourif voices Chucky im sold! it would totally kick ass! to the topic in general: i admit these remakes could be good, but i heard that theyres plans to remake the whole series. if so, thats BS. do the remake of the original, then go back to the orignial actors, and continue the series where it was before the remake. ya know? back to Englund, Kane Hodder, and whoever the hell played Myers. and what the hell ever happened to Freddy vs. Jason 2, and Chucky vs. Leprechaun?

honestly, i don't mind watching remakes....but to be honest...does the film industry need to keep lashing out remakes down our throats? i mean c'mon. funhouse is being remade, hitchcock's birds, etc. imo...its a way to enhance classics for teenagers and their time period. 99% of the time, the teenagers would be better off watching the original. ...as a horror nut, i'll watch every remake when it comes out on DVD, but i'll save theatre money for stuff that is fresh. but whatever...that's my 65 cents.

Why all the remakes? If they have to go back to all these franchises, then why not just make sequels?
