My TV was out for like a month once. When I watched Impact again Team Canada wasn't together anymore. Can anyone tell me how the broke up. I know this is an old question, but I want to know.

They lost a match where if they lost they had to disband.

When Jim Cornette became the new face of management in TNA and said someone would be fired, Young was afraid it would be him. He was seen on iMPACT! holding a up a sign in the crowd that read "Don't fire Eric Young" as the fans chanted "Don't fire Eric!" along with him. On the June 29 episode of iMPACT!, Young wrestled like a classic babyface out of fear of being fired, and tried to prevent his fellow Canadians from doing anything underhanded. Cornette announced later that night Team Canada was now disbanded, but Young was more happy than upset because it was Earl Hebner who got fired, not Young. On the July 14 episode of iMPACT!, Team Canada lost an "all or nothing" match (their only chance to stay together), keeping Team Canada disbanded. At Victory Road, Team Canada joined together in the ring for one last time. After running through how he felt about each member, Scott D'Amore stopped at Eric Young. He then blamed Eric for their demise and made him strip of any Team Canada items as they were no more. Scott D'Amore then said that he believed Eric Young would still be fired as he was to blame for Team Canada's end. Eric then remained in the ring after the others had left and began a secret petition with the fans to keep his job.
Thanks for awsners.com. Basically, to let EY contiue his "Don't Fire Eric" & become a full babyface, give Roode his singles run. Other than that I dunno.

At first I thought it was a great thing to have them break up but looking at it now I wish they would have stayed together. Petey is barely on TV anymore, A1 got fired, and we have this long, drawn out fued between Roode and Young. Team Canada was great for TNA because it gave them a good heel stable.

Roode has a future in TNA, but the rest of Team Canada will get, or have already gotten lost in the shuffle. It's a damn shame... Petey in particular could have been a huge moneymaker for TNA.

I agree about Roode. I think he has a good future but Team Canada was a pretty great thing for TNA. They were a great heel team that TNA could put aganist anyone and could make a good match. Any combination of Team Canada made a good team. TNA needs something like that in my opinion.

I think Petey is pretty good, finally we get to see him again on TV Saturday night, and Eric Young is entertaining. Both of those guys deserve solid pushes. Robert Roode, on the other hand, bores me more than any other TNA wrestler. Bad on the mic, slow in the ring. Uggh.

Must admit I ain't a Roode fan ^.
To me, Eric Young was always going to be the star of the group, I knew A1 wouldn't last long after the demise of the group.
And I was thinking Petey would have had at-least an X Division title run, now he's been off TV for months.
Sadly Roode will be pushed to the sky, he's just boring....

I wish Petey turned heel and had Scott D'Amore as his manager and keep Roode and Young doing there own thing good.

Honestly, Team Canada was getting pretty stale. They didn't have much left to do. In fact, it was usually just two random members of them versus a face tag team. I wish Eric Young would be a long lasting thing, I rarely watch TNA anymore but when I catch a clip of him it always pleases me. A1 didn't have anything to do, but he was pretty good friends with a lot of the guys backstage so I though they'd keep him around longer. It's sad to see Petey get killed off, he's one of the best X-Division guys they've had. I was always a fan of Johnny Devine and liked his Serotonin character, but from what I understand they're just a bunch of jobbers. Roode sucks, I wish I'd never have to see him again.

I would rather still have Team Canada together. Petey hasn't done **** in months and sucks as a face. Eric Young's paranoid gimmick was cool for like the first month or two and while Robert Roode could have a future he lacks charisma and has been booked awful since returning with the gimmick. I'd rather have Team Canada back together. It would be Petey, Roode, Young, Devine & D'dmore. If we can put Triple X back together why not Team Canada? It would be done for the same reason Triple X was put back together, because TNA has nothing for them.
