There has been talk within TNA creative to pair Black Machismo Jay Lethal with a female manager and to loosely imitate the Randy Savage/Miss Elizabeth relationship. Other ideas being tossed around are to have Machismo fall in love with one of the Knockouts and even a marriage angle.
In review of the November 1st Impact, you can clearly see Jay Lethal have a "moment" with somebody backstage.

How do you know they are going to do it the exact same way? Untill it folds out it's hard to say. It seems that way but who knows what Russo will do with it. When I meant it's "new & fresh" I meant for Val/Lethal not the story in general.

Sodaguy, you should be a spokesperson for a cigarette company, because just like cigarette salesmen, you like to shove stupid bullcrapdown our throats. Only with TNA, which except for a very few, sucks.
Let me know the day Jesus Christ debuts to take the title away from Sick Nick Mondo in TNA, then I'll start believing TNA is as good as you make it to be.

- WWE has Savage in a marriage "angle" with Elizabeth
- TNA talking about doing a marriage angle with Lethal/Val, biting off of the Savage/Elizabeth "angle"

Did I say it wasn't the same exact thing? No, I didn't. At this point yes it is going the same exact way as Macho Man/Liz BUT just because it starts out the same doesn't mean TNA/Russo won't put a twist on it. THat was my point.

Okay, since you people I guess mis-understood me. I'm not saying TNA isn't copying it because they are - hell.. Machismo is TNA's Macho Man.. so it's rather obvious they will do it based off the Macho Man/Liz story but it also notes "losely imitate" it. If they do imitate it then yes - then it's stupid & crappy. But, if they start off just like the Macho Man/Liz & then throw their own twists & turns into it then it's fine. That's basically what I was saying. Just because they are going to base some of it off the Macho Man/Liz doesn't mean the whole thing. That's basically what I'm saying.  . |

I think it would be interesting but TNA is definitely at wits end. The booking is so bad I cant even watch Impact anymore. Its so sad.

I'm fine with the Lethal/Val pairing. Val hasn't done anything really in her entire TNA career, and Lethal on his own doing the Macho thing is beyond stale at this point. However, TNA will turn it from bad to worse if they try to copy a marriage angle.

I think we mis-understood you because you didn't exactly say what you think TNA should do. Add in the fact you pretty much defend TNA all the time and rarely say what they do bad. We just might take it as another defense of TNA.
