Can't wait to see our old boy Focalin rise from The Yard to the Indy circuit. He wrestled his first official unofficial whatever you want to call it match recently...our ol' boy's all grown up. thanks yo, the only reason why I refer to it as "Unofficial" is because I wrestled for story line purposes, I don't believe I was called up yet. |

I fight in backyard promotions and major Tom as welk. What advise would you give to someone ready to "leap" into a pro backyard wrestling angel? I like the matches and want to do hardcore with fire.

Advice..? 14 year old me: Drugs, money, women are all great ways to make an angle. Fire and barbed wire are the best! Current me: It's not worth damaging your body for a backyard fed. As someone who broke a few bones backyard wrestling, I cut my pro wrestling time in half. I promise you, don't do anything crazy. Chairs and such, to an extent, do it. But dives off buildings and fire and such, don't waste it on just your mom and your drunk uncle to see. As for the angle, have a friend cheat you out of a title win, then make it personal. In whatever way you chose. Hope I helped. |

i'm sure the backyard wrestling community is still thriving... just not here. i remember when this board used to be so active! the reason i'm making this post, i came across this video on youtube (see below) and i was curious if any one is still around from back in the day? i viewed the game changer wrestling backyard show and kinda sparked my interest.

I can't recall who all is in this video, but, Tony Deppen, Alex Zayne, Myself, Matt Knicks, Craig Mitchell, Chris Castro, Alex Ohlson, Kenny Sutra, Caleb Courageous, The Whisper, EM Demorest, Steve West, Davey Vega, Scott Henson, Daniel Makabe, Drew Sarian, G-Raver, Rickey Shane Page and others I'm sure I'm forgetting were former yarders and currently tearing it up! |
