- Said that when he sees TNA and WWE offers fans what they offer, its "insulting". When you look at other shows on TV right now like CSI: Miami, Politically Incorrect, 24 or any show based anywhere from politics to drama to comedy or whatever, they all have one common thread, "sophisticated writing that makes you think". After which he said, "wrestling is stupid, it insults your intellegnce and it embarasses you to watch it".

- When the subject of the road schedule getting to Benoit and being a factor in him kiilling his family came up, Konnan said that if you've done it your whole life then being on the road isn't really as big a problem. The big problem is the politics and the BS that wrestlers have to put up with that cause them to take drugs (recreational/alcohol).
- He told a story of when he first asked TNA for a raise about 2 years ago. He said he went to WWE for a tryout as an announcer. When he got there Eddie and Rey Mysterio made sure to remind him to shake certain guys hand and remember that "the walls have ears". That alone reminded him of the big time politics that stil go on in big wrestling companies. He said he spoke to Lita, Jericho, Paul Heyman and others at and they said they were all burnt out.
- Said he wants to be in the ring in a limited role when he comes back from hip surgery

- Meltzer brought up the fact that people started to not love TNA anymore and started threating it as more of a job when the company decided they weren't gonna pay for hotel rooms anymore. Konnan said that people were pissed off becuase Sting just got a new contract that paid him $10,000 a week and he didn't have to go to house shows nor was he helping ratings much. Then what REALLY got people mad was when TNA stopped little people work for other indies (ROH, PWG).
- Said Jeff and Dutch Mantel do whatever they want and if you as a talent have anything to say about it then they bury you or fine you therefore you have to swallow your pride.
- Also said Jeff, Dixie and Dutch do not talk to anybody when backstage. When speaking to Jeff one day Konnan told him to go around once in a while and greet some of the people working for him and give them a pat on the back or something. Jeff responded and told Konnan that Vince Russo has been telling him to do the same thing, but it seems that Jarrett isn't listening to Russo either. It seems that a little cliq between the top guys are the only ones that Jeff, Dutch and Dixie hang around and interacts with.
