That poster ing owns. Benoit vs. Joe shall be amazing. cant wait to see who wins that. Hopefully Abyss will retain. IMPACT was good. the opening promo was very good. Sucks to see that the Main Event didnt end cleanly, but hey, both men needed to be kept strong going into big matches at the PPV, so that was a smart move. Bernard squashing two jobbers made me lol. Nice job on IMPACT. awesome stuff heading into Sacrifice. Cant wait to read that.

A reply of last weeks ending to Impact! Plays where the debuting Chris Benoit took on Christopher Daniels only for both men to go to a count-out and the aftermath where NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Abyss delivered the Black Whole Slam to his Sacrifice opponent. After the video is played, the usual Impact! Opening video plays. After that a small pyro display erupts all over the Impact! Zone as Don West and Mike Tenay welcome everybody to the show, They announce tonight’s main event to be the NWA World Tag Team Championship match between the champions, Alex Shelley and Austin Aries and the challengers, America’s Most Wanted. Mike Tenay then says that the interview he had with Samoa Joe on the tna website will also be shown here tonight.
1) Charlie Haas defeated. Takuya Sugi - A great opening match for Impact! This week that showed great technical ability from the number one contender to the TNA X-Division Championship, Charlie Haas while his opponent brought things up a gear with his high flying ability. Both men had equal momentum through out the match with Charlie stopping things for a minute or so to lock in a submission hold to weaken his opponent, The match came to an end after Takuya attempted his run the ropes corner drop kick but Haas got out of the way as Sugi’s kicked the top turnbuckle before falling down to the canvas in pain. Haas quickly locked in the Haas of pain and Takuya didn’t last long before tapping out.
The cameras turn to the back where Jeremy Borash is standing beside a hooded Christopher Daniels and his manager, Father James Mitchell. Mitchell says that Abyss attempted to seek pre-match tactics against Christopher Daniels but his plan failed because Daniels is here, still standing. Mitchell then says that Christopher Daniels will be the next NWA World Heavyweight Champion and there isn’t nothing you can do about it.
2) Giant Bernard defeated. Ron Killings - A decent match put together by these two men, both went at it but Bernard had the momentum going his way a lot more than Ron Killings throughout because of his clear power advantage. The match came to an end with Bernard going for the Baldo Bomb only for Killings to kick Giant Bernard in the chest causing Bernard to fall back and elbow the referee. Killings then connected with the Axe Kick and hooked the leg but the referee was still down on the canvas. As Ron got up to a vertical base, Jeff Jarrett slid in to the ring and connected with the stroke on Killings, he then showed Bernard before leaving the ring and Bernard hooked the leg of Killings to get a slow three count from a hurt referee. After the bell, Jarrett entered the ring once again and offered a handshake with Bernard to clear up the history the two men had. Bernard shook Jarrett’s hand but then quickly connected with the Baldo Bomb planting Jarrett down to the canvas.
The cameras turn to the commentator’s table where Mike Tenay talks about his interview with Samoa Joe that was posted online where he slanders TNA’s new arrival, Chris Benoit. The video is then played and Samoa Joe says several things including “Chris Benoit is just another outsider coming in looking to hold down talent like myself” and “ I challenge Chris Benoit to a match at Sacrifice, lets just see how much of a man he is.”
3) Samoa Joe defeated. Eric Young - The undefeated Samoan submission machine showed the fans why he is called that as he destroyed Eric Young in this short match. Eric tried to fight back but never had the advantage for longer than twenty seconds. Samoa Joe finished things of with the Muscle Buster followed by the Coquina Clutch where Eric was choked out. After the bell, Joe got on the microphone and yelled “Chris Benoit, that is how it is done.” Suddenly, Benoit’s theme song, a catchy remixed version of his WWE theme played across the Impact! Zone. Benoit made his way down to the ring and said that he has been in the wrestling world for over 15 years and never has he held down anyone and that, that was the exact same reason he left WCW back in 2000. Both men then just stare at each other but it’s broken as Joe swings a punch but Benoit catches the arm and throws it down, locking in the Crippler Crossface. Joe quickly rolled out of the submission hold and slid out of the ring as Benoit grins in the ring.
The cameras turn to the back where Raven is standing with his two followers, Shannon Moore and James Keenan. Raven begins to talk about how he defeated Rhino at Lockdown proving once again that he is just better than the war machine. Raven then began using some of his big words to describe he Rhino will always fail in life but then Raven is knocked in to a wall as Rhino charges on screen delivering a gore. Moore and Keenan quickly begin to attack Rhino but Matt Bentley and Frankie Kazarian appear on screen fighting of Raven’s Flock.
Main Event - NWA World Tag Team Championship) America’s Most Wanted defeated. Alex Shelley & Austin Aries by Disqualification to become the new NWA World Tag Team Champions - The main event of the night started with Shelley and Aries using great fast paced team work to getter the better of both members of America’s Most Wanted but once things went to one on one because of the tag team rule, James Storm used his power advantage to drop Shelley on the canvas several times. Both teams continued to go at it for a good fifteen minutes before the ending to the match took place where Shelley took a chair from ring side and hit James Storm across the head with it. The referee rang the bell and America’s Most Wanted were announced as the new tag team champions. Harris dragged his partner out of the ring while holding both titles as Austin Aries entered the ring with his hands on his head shocked that he just lost his championship. He began yelling at Shelley “Why did you do that?” and Shelley responded by smashing the steel chair of the head of Austin Aries. Impact! Then goes of the air with Shelley standing in the ring as the impact zone boo him.

I will go back to reading other stuff of this diary later as I'm not really familiar with it. I like the Benoit in TNA idea. I think it would have eventually happened if......you know. I like Joe's promo, and a Joe-Benoit match sounds nice. I hope Bentley & Kazarian get some sort of push. Wow, a DQ title change. I like the idea of Shelley intentionally disqualifying himself. Interesting heel turn there at the end. Overall it was a nice show, although I feel like it lacked top guys to some extent.

Like Planet Charisma, I have to go back and read this diary. Like that you have Benoit there, and keep pushing Charlie Haas. The DQ title change was kinda cool but I would've loved if Aries/Shelley kept the titles. Can't wait for Benoit/Joe.

Great way to kick off TNA iMPACT with that technical fest between Takuya Sugi and Charlie Haas, that'd of been a good match, keep pushing Charlie Haas please. I like the difference in styles that Ron Killings and Giant Bernard sure do have, I liked that Killings had offense too but Bernard winning is okay I suppose, also keep pushing Killings. Shame you squashed Eric Young, he was a part of Team Canada and a heel, although I suppose it's fine since Samoa Joe is on an undefeated streak. Great main event, I loved that America's Most Wanted won the NWA World Tag Team Championships but by disqualification I dislike. I wish you'd start using more TNA homegrown talent also rather than guys like Haas, Japanese guys et cetera, you bring in too many people.

Great to see this back Hammers. Great to see Haas getting the win, and its nice to see him being used properly. Good to see Bernard and Jarrett feuding, hopefully Bernard gets a title shot soon. I really like the idea of a Joe/ Benoit feud, and their match should be epic. I hate that you have AMW the titles via DQ, since it doesn't exactly make them seem like strong champions. Good to see Shelley getting a singles push though.

TNA Impact! Comes on the air after the usual opening video is played. Once the pyro display is over, the cameras head towards the commentator’s table where Don West and Mike Tenay welcome everybody to the show. The cameras then turn to the ring where Larry Zbyszko is standing with a microphone in his hand. Zbyszko says he is out here to make a few matches for Sacrifice which will be taking place next Sunday on the 21st May. Larry then goes on to make Jeff Jarrett vs. Giant Bernard, Alex Shelley vs. Austin Aries and at the request of Raven, a Clockwork Orange House of Fun match between Rhino. Larry then says that because of last weeks NWA World Tag Team Championship change there wasn’t enough time to make a tag team title match for the pay per view so at Sacrifice, several times will be competing in a tag team gauntlet with the winning team facing America’s Most Wanted at Slammiversity next month for the titles. Larry then announces that tonight’s main event will be the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Abyss and The Hardy Brothers vs. Christopher Daniels and the new NWA World Tag Team Champions, America’s Most Wanted.
1) Shannon Moore & James Keenan w/ Raven vs. Frankie Kazarian & Micheal Shane went to a no contest - This match came about from last weeks back stage brawl but this match was a lot more fast paced as all four would be considered X-Division style wrestlers. Fair to say both teams had equal momentum through out until Raven used a kendo stick to trip Michael Shane as he was bouncing of the ropes. This quickly prompted Rhino to make an appearance and both men brawled outside of the ring before making their way inside of it. The referee had to call of the match as things were getting out of control. Rhino eventually threw Raven out of the ring as Moore and Keenan retreated.
The cameras turn to the back where Jeremy Borash is standing by with Chris Benoit. Benoit says that last week he got the better of Samoa Joe and the same thing is going to happen at Sacrifice. Benoit then walks away and JB turns around to see Samoa Joe just standing there. JB asks Joe what he’s doing but Joe just walks of screen as well.
2) Jeff Jarrett defeated. David Young - A surprisingly competitive match between these two although not as long as the average TNA match. Jarrett was in control for a lot of the match until David Young connected with a spine buster which got him a near three count. Jarrett felt he needed to finish the match now so he crotch kicked David while the referee was in a position not to see it. Jarrett then quickly hit the stroke for the three count. After the bell, Jarrett got on the mic and said that he tried to befriend Bernard once again last week but he shoved it back in his face so at Sacrifice, Bernard will be taking care off.
The cameras turn to the back where Alex Shelley is talking to one of the other heel X-Division wrestlers, Jimmy Rave. Jeremy Borash appears on screen and asks Alex Shelley why he got his team DQ’d last week causing them to lose the NWA tag titles as well as attacking his partner, Austin Aries. Shelley says that he was getting tired of being a tag team wrestler and that Aries was holding him back. Shelley then attempts to say something about the X Division title but Aries appears on screen, jumping on top of Shelley sending both men in to a wall. Aries begins delivering several punches to Shelley’s head as security run over and pull Aries away.
3) Robert Roode defeated. Shark Boy - First appearance for Shark Boy in about a month but the Rest and Relaxation wasn’t enough to give Shark Boy the victory as Roode was able to pick up the win after a Fisherman Suplex.
The cameras turn to the back where Larry Zbyszko announces that because of his win at Lockdown, Jay Lethal earned himself an X-Division title match and he wants to be entered in to the title match at Sacrifice so it will be Chris Sabin vs. Charlie Haas vs. Jay Lethal.
Main event) Christopher Daniels & America’s Most Wanted defeated. Abyss & The Hardy Brothers - This wasn’t exactly a long match because there wasn’t a lot of time left but it did get ten minutes of solid action. Daniels stayed away from Abyss for most of the match while making his main target either of the Hardy Brothers. Near the end of the match, the referee got squashed in the corner by Abyss by accident and this allowed James Mitchell to throw his came to Daniels who jabbed Abyss right in the face with it. Abyss left the ring in pain as Matt Hardy was knocked of the apron by Daniels with a drop kick while AMW connected with the Death Sentence on Jeff Hardy to get the three count. Impact goes of the air with Abyss holding one of his hands over his right eye, where the cane must of hit him.

Thanks for the reply buddy. Sabin/Hass/Lethal looks like it is going to awsome . Shelley/Aries should be epic. AMW is always fun to read. Benard/Jarret seems like a good big man match-up. Benoit/Joe= Match of the year. Raven/Rhino should be some gory fun. Abyss/Daniels should be good (As long as Abyss wins).

Awesome iMPACT! Hammers, I really liked the opener. Young being competetive with Jarrett is a shock haha. Shelley turning on Aries is freaking awesome. I hope the match at Sacrifice will be as good as it sounds like it should. Pretty cool main event. Sacrifice is shaping up to be a great show. The card looks awesome. From top to bottom I cannot see a weak match. Keep up the great work.

Good opening segment to build towards Raven/Rhino. Actually it was a match, but it really turned into more of a segment type brawl. I hope Shane/Kazarian continue to get pushed. Wonder who'll win JJ/Bernard, I think it'd be a waste to job JJ just like that. Glad Roode appears to be getting a push. Solid main event, and the right team won in my opinion. Solid show, should be a good PPV. Hope Abyss, Joe, and JJ win their matches.

Interesting starter to this edition of TNA iMPACT, Larry Zbyzko was a really bad heel at this time, nice announcement for the main event, also. Maybe leading to Rhino vs. Raven? Ooo. Shannon Moore and James Keenan drawing with Michael Shane and Frankie Kazarian is good, a Serotonin feud? Jeff Jarrett beating David Young is okay, nice touch that it was competitive. Bernard I hope loses at Sacrifice. Robert Roode beating Shark Boy is fine, puts over Roode. Great six-man tag team match and maybe it's just me but I'd think Christopher Daniels vs Abyss would be more one-sided towards Abyss when Daniels is a lightweight. Good that America's Most Wanted and Chris Daniels went over.
