September 26th, 2008-Sacramento, California*An Unforgiven Recap Video Airs, showing the Undertaker defeating Chris Jericho to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, Charlie Hass becoming the NEW United States Champion, and Kofi Kingston defeating Carlito.* *We cut to the arena to see Chris Jericho making his way to the ring, with a bandage on his head, apparently suffered last Sunday at the hands of the Deadman. Jericho walks slowly to the ring, walks up the steps, through the ropes, and into the ring. He grabs a microphone from one of the crew around ringside..* Chris Jericho: For those of you who tuned into Unforgiven this Sunday...and for those of you who didn't...you missed one hell of a match. Yeah, sure, me and Taker, man, we tore down the house! There's just...one problem. I'm not the World Heavyweight Champion...(Pop from the crowd). Look, Undertaker, to put it simple, you got lucky...i mean, everybody could...Edge: LUCKY?! (Heavy boos from the crowd.) LUCKY ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Lucky is how i would describe your fluke win over me a few weeks ago, that cost me the chance to fight for MY title at Unforgiven. No no no, Jericho, Jericho, you're a joke! You lost your chance. It's my time now! I'm going to..Jericho: Would you puhleassee, SHUT. THE HELL. UP! (Pop from crowd) Edge: Ya know Jericho, you can come out here and say all of your little catch phrases, get a good reaction from all of these idiots, but when it comes to winning the big one, you fail! You don't take advantage of the situation like I'm so good at doing myself Jericho!Jericho: Okay, I'm tired of this crap, come down to this ring and I'll show you how I'll take advantage of the opportunity to kick your little ass junior!Edge: Are you kidding me? Oh, you'll have your time to face me in the ring Jericho, it's going to happen, i dont care when it does, but it will, and when it does, I! WILL BE THE WINNER!*Edge starts to walk back up the ramp, but suddenly, Umaga's music hits, and Edge freezes in his tracks. Umaga walks out, and Edge begins to back up towards ringside, finding himself stuck between Jericho and Umaga. Finally Edge's back hits the ring apron, and he slides into the ring. With Jericho standing right next to him, Edge looks at his rival and they nod at each other. Umaga gets into the ring and Jericho teams with Edge to try and take out the Samoan. Umaga pushes both of them off and hits a Samoan Spike on Jericho, followed by a kick to head to Edge. Umaga then stands in the ring, letting out a loud scream, as Smackdown heads to it's first commercial break of the night.* *Commercials* *Smackdown returns from the break to see a graphic appear on the screen, announcing that next week there will be a Triple Threat #1 Contender Match between Chris Jericho, Umaga, and Edge. The winner will challenge the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy. Shortly after, another graphic appears, announcing that tonight, Chris Jericho & Edge vs. Umaga in a Handicap Match has been announced as the Main Event.* ~Jake Hager Def. Jamie Noble~ The match wasn't too long at all, just about under five minutes. Hager started off as ruthless as ever, and we just saw a short few seconds of offense from Noble that just consisted of a dropkick that failed to even knock Hager off of his feet anyway. Shortly after, Hager turned the momentum back in his favor and hit the Monument Drop for the win. After the match Hager went to the outside to get a steel chair, and waited for Noble to get up. When Noble got to his feet, Hager went to swing the chair, but to his surprise, JBL had gotten up from the announcer's seat and grabbed the chair away from Hager. JBL stood on the apron, as Hager stared at him. JBL reached across the apron and gave Hager a huge right hand to the mouth, which sent a nice sized wad of spit flying out of Hager's mouth. JBL got off the apron and walked to the back, as Hager stood in the ring, embarrassed, staring down JBL as he walked up the ramp. *Commercials* *An Unforgiven Recap Video airs, this time showing highlights from both the RAW and SMACKDOWN! side.* ~Shelton Benjamin Def. Matt Hardy~On last weeks broadcast, Jeff Hardy defeated Shelton Benjamin in a very hard fought match. As Jeff is unable to compete this week, due to last weeks attack from Edge, Jeff's brother, Matt, will take his place. The match was full of a lot of back and fourth action, and we saw Benjamin pushing the offensive in the early going. The turning point saw Benjamin go for his finisher, but Matt held onto the ropes. Benjamin stopped, and Matt ran at him, but Benjamin jumped into the air and pulled down Matt, slamming Hardy's face into the canvas. Benjamin then made the cover to get the victory. *We cut backstage to see Chris Jericho in his locker room, when suddenly, the door slams open, and Edge walks in.* Edge: Look. I know that me and you, we have our differences. And ya know what, BOTH of our chances at a World Championship Match against the Undertaker are in jeopardy. If we can take out Umaga tonight, then he won't make it here next week. And it can be me and you Jericho. One-on-One, Man-to-Man.Jericho:.....Get out. *Edge stares at Jericho, and then turns away and walks off.* *Commercials* *We cut from the arena to see a graphic for the Handicap Match Main Event tonight which will put Umaga up against Chris Jericho and Edge!" *Commercials* ~Kofi Kingston Def. Charlie Hass by Disqualification~This match was a non-title bout, and is the first match for Hass since defeating CM Punk for the United States Championship last Sunday at Unforgiven. The match went back and fourth in the early going, but Kofi really got things going and heated up towards the middle of the match, and Hass was getting overwhelmed. Kingston used his speed, agility, and awesome technique to out-wit and out-speed Hass for quite some time during the match. Eventually, Kingston went for the Cool Running's, but Hass ducked, and got the opportunity he was waiting for. Kofi got back to his feet and Hass went for a Fisherman Suplex, but Kofi jumped behind Hass and pushed Hass off the ropes. Hass hung onto the rope, and Kofi ran at him, and hit the Cool Running's! As Kofi dragged Hass over towards the center of the ring to make the cover, Carlito ran down to the ring and slid in, going right after Kofi and attack him with right hands. The referee called for the bell and Hass soon joined in on the beat down, until the crowd erupted when CM Punk and down to the ring and chased off the two hells. Punk bent down near the beaten Kofi as Hass and Carlito retreated up the ramp. *We cut backstage to see the Undertaker, with his World Heavyweight Championship rested around his shoulder, walking through the back. The Undertaker will come to the ring, NEXT! *Commercials* *An Unforgiven Recap Video airs, this time showing highlights from both the RAW and SMACKDOWN! side.* *We come back from the break to see The Undertaker's music hit, and he rides out into the arena as the fans chant his name.* The Undertaker: Last Sunday, Chris Jericho, you found out what the wholllleee Smackdown locker room should damn well be aware of. The Big Dog ain't goin' nowhere. (Pop from crowd.) Ya see, Jericho put up a good fight, but when you come in my yard, you better be ready to take a beating, or else, your not gonna have a long stay. Jericho wasn't ready, and I gave him an ass whoopin that he'll never forget. (Pop from the crowd.) As far as No Mercy goes. I'm not scared...of Umaga. You all know i'm not scared of Jericho. And you allll should know, i'm sure as HELL not afraid of Edge. So guys, you go ahead and beat on each other tonight...and you go ahead and do it some more next week. Cause i'll be watchin..and next week, when that match is over, and the winners standin in this ring..I'll be waiting. (Pop from the crowd). *Commercials* ~Elijah Burke & John Morrison Def. Cub Larson and Mikey Davis in the Open Challenge~The match was pretty short, as the too jobbers took a beating in yet another win for the Tag Team Champions in their "Open Challenge to the World." Burke took out Larson with the Elijah Express while Morrison hit the Moonlight Drive on Davis for the win. *Commercials* *A No Mercy promo airs, advertising Shawn Michaels vs. MVP for the WWE Championship.* ~Umaga Def. Chris Jericho & Edge in a Handicap Match~The match was awesome, and the crowd was really into all of the big parts of this match. Umaga fought off Jericho and Edge well for most of the match, until Edge and Jericho finally co-existed towards the end of the match, and Umaga was starting to get taken off guard. Jericho and Edge hit double clotheslines, double dropkicks, and even a double suplex, finally getting the huge Samoan off of his feet. Eventually, Jericho hit the Code Breaker on Umaga, and Umaga was left on one knee, having stumbled back and nearly falling. Edge set up in the corner for a spear, and lined up Umaga in his sites. When Edge ran forward, he did not hit Umaga. Chris Jericho was the target of his Spear. Soaking in huge boos from the crowd, Edge left, leaving Jericho clutching his ribs in pain on the ground. Umaga recovered quickly, picked up Jericho, and hit the Samoan Spike to gain the victory. *After the match, Edge stood on the ramp smiling, as Umaga stood over Jericho's body and stared down Edge, and Smackdown went off the air.* *WWE Symbol Flashes on the Screen.* Quick Results-Jake Hager Def. Jamie Noble -Shelton Benjamin Def. Matt Hardy -Kofi Kingston Def. Charlie Hass by Disqualification -Elijah Burke & John Morrison Def. Cub Larson and Mikey Davis -Umaga Def. Chris Jericho & Edge

-Interesting way to start the show with the whole Edge/Jericho/Umaga thing -Next week's triple threat match should be real good and I'm pulling for Umaga to win. I only want Edge to win, if he goes over 'Taker at No Mercy -JBL as a face? Interesting. I like what you're doing with Hager -Good to see Shelton win, especially with the Paydirt -Type in the Haas/Kofi match as Haas beat Punk for the US Title, not the World title. Good way to end it and I like those four being the focal point of Smackdown's midcard -I like the open challenge idea and juse Burke & Morrison as a team period -Very good main event and I love how Edge left Jericho for dead
A good show from you as usual man. I've missed this.

It's great to see this back, man. Opening promo for Smackdown was awesomely writen and made Umaga look like a beast, hoping to see Umaga vs The Undertaker at No Mercy. Opening match was a good singles match, I remember you debutted Hager before WWE renamed him Swagger. The JBL save after the match was unexpected and pretty cool. I'd love if it was because Noble paid JBL, an APA sort of thing. Benjamin vs Hardy was always a solid match, I did enjoy their match at Great American Bash 2008. Happy with Benjamin getting the win. Haas as United States Champion is fantastic, loving his push. Glad to see him go over Kofi Kingston. Morrson/Burke is a cool tag team, although I'd prefer them as single wrestlers. Main Event was a solid match, Edge leaving Jericho was a solid heel move. Still rooting for Umaga vs Taker at No Mercy. Looking forward to Cena/Mysterio as well.

Interesting to see this back. I like Edge spazzing out. Good to see retro Jericho out there. I assume Hager is Jack Swagger. Hope to see you giving Shelton a nice push. Don't really care for Haas being US Champ to be honest. Like the Taker promo, trying to be intimidating. Burke & Morrison would make for an excellent team. Edge turning on Jericho made sense, and was a good way for Umaga to pick up the win.

Alright, good to see you back. Only thing is, I'd love it if you began to use size 2 font, the size 1 font makes me squint my eyes. Good opening promo, seemed pretty descriptive, and such. Maybe a little too much dialogue put in there, but I'm not really bothered about that. Nice opening contest to kick off WWE SmackDown, ah, this reminds me that you continue to overpush young stars you are biased to. Hope you end up pushing Jamie Noble, he's too good a talent to be wasted. Good way to put over Jake Hager. Shelton Benjamin beating Matt Hardy is a solid match, seemed pretty good as these two know how to make a match. I actually enjoy this little program with the WWE United States Championship. I hate that Charlie Haas won the title at Unforgiven five nights before, then jobbed to Kofi Kingston here in non-title action. Shows me that he's pretty much doomed and guaranteed a short reign. Alright way to put over WWE Tag Team Champions, Elijah Burke and John Morrison. Get some credible teams in there, lad. Great main event, seemed like a solid contest.

Heartbreak and Triumph Last week on RAW, the NEW WWE Champion, MVP, finally made his first appearance. When he finally did show up, in the last minute of the broadcast, the new champion laid out his challenger for No Mercy, Shawn Michaels. Michaels was the same man who MVP robbed at Unforgiven to become the NEW WWE Champion. With their battle for the belt just a few weeks away, what will happen when MVP and Shawn Michaels come face-to-face tonight?
Randy Orton sent a clear message to Mr. Kennedy last week on RAW, and that was to just stay out of his way. Orton destroyed Chuck Palumbo shortly before. This week on RAW, Mr. Kennedy will be in the building. What will Kennedy have to say to Orton?
Jim Ross spoke to the Rock via satellite last Monday on RAW. The Great One told his fans that the Doctors have told him that he should not step into the ring again. However, the Rock has ignored their warnings, and he will be in Springfield, Mass, this Monday Night. What will the Great One have to say to Rycklon Stephens and the WWE Champion MVP?
John Cena has told everyone in the RAW locker room that he is looking to earn his way back to a WWE Title Shot once again. Last week on RAW, Cena challenged Rey to be his first rung on the ladder. After being forced into tag action together by William Regal, Cena and Rey will now clash at No Mercy in one-on-one action. Will they come face to face again tonight?
After their last few confrontations, Beth Phoenix had been overwhelmed by Jazz, who had ambushed Beth plenty of times over the past few months. Last week on RAW, Beth got revenge by attacking Jazz. This week on RAW, Jazz will square off in a Triple Threat Match, with the winner getting the next title shot at Beth. Will Jazz finally get what she desires?
Find out this Monday on RAW at 8/7 CT, only on the USA Network!

September 29th, 2008 -Springfield, Massachusetts Episode # 801*A Video Recap of last weeks RAW airs, showing John Cena and Rey Mysterio along with MVP attacking Shawn Michaels at the end of the broadcast.* *We cut to the arena, and shortly after the pyro, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler announce that tonight's Main Event will be Mr. Kennedy and Shawn Michaels facing Randy Orton and the WWE Champion, MVP, in a Tag Team Match up. Jim Ross also tells us that tonight, Shane McMahon will be live on RAW to make a special announcement! Shortly after, Ted Dibiase's music hits, and he makes his way down to the ring, with his Intercontinental Championship around his waist.* ~Ted Dibiase Def. Marcus Cor Von in a Non-Title Match~The match between Dibiase and Cor Von went back and fourth throughout. Dibiase used some pretty cheap tactics during the middle of the match, and even tried to use the ropes as leverage during a pinfall, but the referee saw it, and refused to count the three. Cor Von fought back and took control, with the crowd rallying behind him. Dibiase was able to sit step the Pounce, and Cor Von slammed into the corner. Dibiase then rolled up Cor Von and used the ropes as leverage, but this time, the referee didnt see and Dibiase got the three count to get the win. *We cut to the parking lot to see MVP get out of his limousine, open his trunk and get his bag out. MVP walks across the parking lot, and opens to the door to the arena, but takes a step back, when he see's Randy Orton walk out the doorway. Orton walks right up to MVP, staring at the WWE Championship around his shoulder, and then looks MVP right in the eye.* Orton: That title...is mine. Don't think i've forgetten..the DESTRUCTION i caused with that title around my waist. I'm coming back for it. Whether it's you, or it's HBK...that title, is coming back home. Tonight, you better stay out of my way. Let me take care of Kennedy. You leave him to ME. You can do whatever you want with Michaels, but as far as Kennedy goes...I'll handle him. *MVP begins to walk away...* Orton: AND if you do somehow manage to defeat Shawn Michaels at No Mercy. You're time is running out. Tick..tock....tick...tock...tick tock..*Commercials* *We cut backstage to see Todd Grisham standing by with Cryme Tyme.* Todd Grisham: I'm here with Cryme Tyme. Tonight, JTG, you're scheduled to take on Elijah Burke in one-on-one action, and if you're victorious, then you and your tag team partner Shad will get a match against Morrison & Burke for Undisputed Tag Team Championships next week. JTG: That's right, Todd. Ya'll know Morrison and Burke are over rated. Man, they don't even face nobody thats even any good. Some cub guy and Mike they beat on Smackdown? Hell no Todd! Cryme Tyme aint to push ova's, and tonight, ima pin Elijah Burke, and then, were gonna be tha new Tag Champs next week. And after that...we be gettin that money, money, yeah yeah! ~Elijah Burke w/John Morrison Def. JTG w/Shad~ The match was good, and it actually went at a pretty fast pace. JTG took control for most of the match, and it looked like Cryme Tyme would be getting a shot at the titles next week, but Morrison tripped up JTG, which caused him to fall. JTG tried to recover by using the corner to pull himself up, but he turned around and got drilled with the Elijah Express, as Shad chased Morrison up the ramp. Shad stopped at the top of the ramp and turned around when he heard Burke's music hit. Shad ran down to the ring, but Burke rolled out before Shad could catch him. *A No Mercy Promo airs, advertising John Cena vs. Rey Mysterio, along with MVP defending the WWE Championship against Shawn Micheals.* *Commercials* ~Rey Mysterio Def. Harry Smith~The match was good, but short. Mysterio wowed the crowd with his innovative offense, and Smith's cold streak continued, as Mysterio was able to fight off Smith to get the win after a 619 followed by a off the top rope. After the match, Mysterio was in the ring celebrating when John Cena's music hit. Cena walked down to the ring, and took a microphone from one of the crew at ringside. Cena: Congratulations on your win tonight, Rey. (pop from the crowd.) Now, I'm out here so we can continue our conversation that we started last week. As i said before Rey, i want to fight my way back to the top, and earn my shot to face the best. And the reason why i challenged you first Rey, to be honest, was because i wanted to make a statement. You're one of, if not, the toughest person to compete with in the ring...i mean, you have great, speed, power, wrestling abil..*TIME TO PLAY THE GAMEEEE* *Triple H walks out onto the stage, microphone in hand, soaking in a nice pop from the crowd.* Triple H: Ya know Cena, you make be complete crap in the ring, but you sure know how to kiss ass to these people..(half pop, half boo from the crowd.) Did i just hear you say that he was the toughest in the ring? You're Wrong. Until you play the Game, Cena, you haven't faced the best.John Cena: If i remember correctly, last time we were in the ring i beat the best. (half pop, half cheer from the crowd.) Triple H: Cena, last time we were in the ring, I was the one who had my hand raised when it was all set and done. Don't you remember SummerSlam? Rey Mysterio: Hunter, you sure do a lot of talking for someone all the way up there huh! Why don't you come down here and we can fight right now! Triple H: Whoa, hold on little man. You'll get your chance. That's right. I've already spoken to Shane McMahon. It wont just be Rey Mysterio vs. John Cena at No Mercy. That's right. That match just became a Triple Threat. And the winner, well, the winner faces MVP for the World Title at Survivor Series. As for you two, starting tonight, It's GAME ON.*Triple drops the microphone, takes off his jacket, and runs down the ramp at full speed. The Game slides into the ring and it turns into a three way brawl between Cena, Mysterio and the Game. Eventually about 8-9 people, including road agents and referees rush out to the ring to try and put a stop to the brawl, and RAW goes to a break.* *Commercials* ~Jazz Def. Victoria & Mickie James in a Triple Threat #1 Contender's Match~The match was good for a Diva's match. Jazz dominated early on, but Mickie and Victoria actually fought together to try and take out Jazz, but to no avail. Jazz kicked Victoria out of the ring and Mickie hit Jazz with a forearm to the back. Mickie tried to whip Jazz into the ropes, but Jazz countered and Mickie ran off the ropes, back towards Jazz, and right into a big powerslam. Jazz covered Mickie to get the three count. Jazz will face Beth Phoenix next week on RAW, with the Women's Championship on the line. *A graphic for tonight's Main Event, Mr. Kennedy & Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton and MVP appears on the screen. That match is NEXT! But later, Shane McMahon will be here later to make a big announcement! What will it be?!* *Commercials* ~Randy Orton & MVP Def. Mr Kennedy & Shawn Michaels~The crowd was amazingly into this match, and they rallied behind everything that Kennedy and Micheals pulled off. Orton and MVP worked hard to try and isolate Micheals in the ring, keeping him from making the hot tag to Kennedy, but eventually Micheals slipped away and made the tag to Kennedy. Kennedy came in like a house of fire, taking out Orton with a big clothesline to the outside. Kennedy focused his attention on MVP and send him off the ropes. MVP reversed and sent Kennedy off the ropes, but Orton held onto Kennedy's foot and tripped him. Michaels ran around to the other side of the ring and jumped off the apron, right onto Orton. Meanwhile, in the ring, Kennedy got to his feet, but he ate a boot to the gut from Kennedy followed by the Playmaker for the win. After the match, Kennedy stared at Orton, who walked up the ramp, with MVP not far behind. *A graphic appears on the screen. Shane McMahon's announcement is up NEXT!* *Commercials* *Shane McMahon is standing in the ring as we return from the break.* Shane: Tonight, i have a big announcement about an event that will take place three weeks from tonight. The RAW following the No Mercy PPV WILL be the 2008 WWE DRAFT. (Pop from the crowd.) That RAW will be LIVE from Madison Square Garden, and I am officially announcing a Champion vs. Champion Match to be the Main Event. The World Heavyweight Champion, whoever that may be, will face the WWE Champion, whoever that may be. ALL members of the active roster will be eligible. Whether its a member of the commentary team, or a referee, your eligible. And for my second announcement...I'd like to welcome someone back to Monday Night RAW...and that man..is THE ROCK! *The Rock's music hits, and the crowd goes off. The Rock stops on the middle of the ramp to soak in the tremendous pop, but suddenly... Boom. The Rock suddenly dropped to the ground, as MVP had snuck up from behind, and nailed him with the WWE Championship with a shot that struck the Rock right in the back of the head. MVP began to stomp on the Rock's lifeless body, as Rycklon Stephens slowly walked out, and down the ramp. Shane McMahon left the ring and began to walk fast up the ramp. Shane got in MVP's face and told him to get the hell out. MVP stopped the beating for a second, and turned away, looking like he would walk away, only to turn back around and nail Shane with a right hand to the jaw! MVP then ordered Rycklon to pick up Shane. MVP went down to ringside and grabbed a steel chair. He walked back up the ramp and began to hammer the Rock's back with repeated shots, as Rycklon walked up the ramp, with Shane's body over his shoulder. Shane began to struggle and MVP ordered Rycklon to do something about it. Rycklon then picked up Shane over his head, with both arms fully extended in the Gorilla Press position, and tossed Shane forward, straight into the stage! MVP still hammered on the Rock's body, and the crowd showered the two with boos. Rycklon took Shane and picked him up, only using one hand. Rycklon then lifted up Shane hand chokeslammed him onto the steel! MVP then dragged the Rock's body up the ramp and Rycklon picked him up. MVP watched as Rycklon scooped up the Rock's body, and the two then walked backstage.* *About five seconds after, we cut to a camera backstage, following MVP and Rycklon, who is carrying the Rock. MVP leads Rycklon through the back area and through a door in the arena. We cut to another camera shot from outside the arena, that see's MVP lead Rycklon out into the parking lot. Rycklon slams the Rock on top of a hood, and MVP takes his steel chair and rams it into the Rock's gut. Rycklon then rips the Rock off of the hood and smashes the Rock onto the windshield. The Rock's body falls off the car and onto the pavement. MVP then grabs the Rock's head and sits him up against the side of the car. MVP uses his chair like a baseball bat, and swings it, smashing the Rock's head between the car and the chair. MVP and Rycklon turn when the parking lot door slams open, and the camera turns to see Shawn Michaels running towards them! MVP and Rycklon run to a waiting limousine and drive off, screeching tires and all. Micheals walks over to the Rock's body and stares down at the pool of blood, with his hand over his hand. RAW goes off the air, as the crowd is silent, and HBK stands over the body of the bloody, fallen Rock.* *WWE Symbol Flashes on the Screen.* Quick Results-Ted Dibiase Def. Marcus Cor Von in a Non-Title Match -Elijah Burke w/John Morrison Def. JTG w/Shad -Rey Mysterio Def. Harry Smith -Jazz Def. -Really cool Raw graphic. I like how MVP is in the middle of it all -Good opener, I like that you have Dibiase doing big things in your sim -Very cool stuff Orton was saying -Glad Burke won and I hope Cryme Tyme aren't the ones to take the titles off Burke & Morrison -I like the idea of a number one contender's triple threat match -I like what you're doing with Jazz, but I'm still hoping Beth keeps the gold -Really happy that the heels won the main event, which was a good match -Very exciting ending to the show and I really like the MVP/Rycklon pairing. Happy to hear about the draft
Great show dude, I'm pumped for the draft and No Mercy

MVP is really getting a super push, and I like it. The beatdown of Rock really makes him look strong and gives him a "street" edge. Triple Threat should be good.

Still The Big Dog Last week on SMACKDOWN, things got out of control in a battle to become the #1 contender. Umaga, Edge and Chris Jericho were involved in a Handicap Match Main Event, which saw Edge betray Jericho and leave him hanging in the ring, letting Umaga take advantage and get the win. This week SMACKDOWN will be headlined with a Triple Threat Main Event. The winner of this match between Edge, Jericho, and Umaga will go to No Mercy to challenge the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Tag Team Champions Elijah Burke and John Morrison defeated two opponents last week on SMACKDOWN. Monday on RAW, Burke defeated JTG to prevent Cryme Tyme from getting a Tag Team Title Match this Friday on SMACKDOWN. Who will step up to challenge the champs this Friday?
Carlito prevented Kofi Kingston from getting a win over United States Champion Charlie Hass last Friday on SMACKDOWN. Carlito interfered, causing Kofi to get disqualified. CM Punk was able to make the save. What will go down between this four this week on SMACKDOWN!?
Jake Hager stretched his undefeated streak to 12-0 last week on SMACKDOWN! Following the match, Hager planned on attacking his opponent, Jamie Noble, with a steel chair. However, JBL had different plans. JBL exited his position at the announce table to take the chair away from Hager, and then followed up by nailing Hager with a right hand to the jaw. What provoked JBL? Is he out to get Hager?
Find out all of this and more on Friday Night Smackdown! Tonight at 8/7CT on the CW 11 Network!

Sad to see Cor Von losing to DiBiase. Glad Burke picked up the W in his match. Cool to see Harry Smith being used by that name instead of D.H. HHH-Cena-Mysterio seems like it would be good. Jazz-Beth sounds interesting to say the least. Brutal ending to the show, I really like the MVP/Rycklon pair. No Mercy looks pretty stacked so far.

October 3rd, 2008-Minneapolis, Minnesota*We cut to the arena and Lilian Garcia tells us the following is a Tag Team Match. Lilian pauses, only to hear the music of Charlie Hass hit. Hass walks down the ramp and into the ring. Shortly after, Carlito's music hits. Apparently the two will be teaming up tonight. Soon after, CM Punk's music hits, and Punk walks down to the ring, followed by Kofi Kingston. It should be mentioned that JBL is not at the commentary position tonight, and Todd Grisham is filling in for him.* ~CM Punk & Kofi Kingston Def. Charlie Hass & Carlito~The match was good, and we saw a lot of back and fourth action from both teams. The match got off with a bang after Punk and Kofi tossed Carlito and Hass to the outside and both hit dives to the outside of the ring at the same time. Shortly after, things were under control and Kofi had taken Carlito into the ring. Eventually Carlito got the upper hand and tagged in Hass who controlled Kofi and kept him on the mat with a few submissions and rest holds. This didnt last for long though, as Kofi got up to his feet and ducked under a clothesline, hitting a dropkick once Hass turned around. This led to Kofi making the hot tag to Punk, who came in like a house of fire and nailed the now legal Carlito with a flying clothesline. Punk tossed Hass into the corner and hit a running clothesline, followed by a running bulldog out of the corner, where Punk used his feet in mid-air to nail Carlito as he drove Hass down to the canvas. With Hass down, Punk took Carlito up and hit him with the GTS for the win. Dominating performance from Punk. After the match, Punk celebrated with Kofi as the two heels retreated up the ramp. *A graphic appears on the screen, advertising tonight's Triple Threat #1 contender's match, with the winner facing the Undertaker at the No Mercy PPV.* *Commercials* *We come back to the arena to see that Elijah Burke and John Morrison, the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, are making their way down to the ring. They are not in wrestling attire though, and they make their way to the announce table.* *Suddenly, a familiar theme plays throughout the arena... The crowd gives the Anvil a pretty good pop, and he makes his way onto the stage. Morrison and Burke poke fun at him through the headsets at the commentary booth until he begins to speak.* Anvil: Ladies and Gentleman, I'd like to introduce to you, the Tag Team of the Future, the new, reborn, revamped, Hart Foundation 2.0! *Anvil's theme plays again, and Harry Smith enters the arena, followed by TJ Wilson. Shortly after the music of Deuce and Domino hits, and the match is on.* ~Hart Foundation 2.0 Def. Deuce and Domino~The match was good, and HF2.0 showed great potential by defeating a pair of former Tag Team Champions in Deuce and Domino. The HF2.0 finished off Deuce with a nice combination of a superkick from TJ, which sent him stumbling into Smith who drilled Deuce with a clothesline and TJ followed it up with a cross body that seemed to be high as all hell. After the match, Burke and Morrison walked away from the announce table, not looking happy. *A No Mercy promo airs, advertising John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Rey Mysterio and MVP defending the WWE Championship against the Showstopper, Shawn Michaels.* *Commercials* *We come back from the break to see Jake Hager make his way down to ringside. He gets into the ring and grabs a microphone from the corner.* Hager: Last week, JBL did something that nobody should ever do to me. He went against me. For some reason, he thought he could lay his hands on me and get away with it. Unfortunately for JBL, that didn't quite fly with me. So i took the liberty of sending a little message to JBL...roll it.*We cut to footage of JBL's limousine in the parking lot. Hager comes out of nowhere with a baseball bat and smashes out a few windows and smashes the windshield. Hager then spits on the car and rips one of the doors off.* Hager: J.B.L DESERVED. THAT! He has NO business coming into this ring. He's a washed up has been now. I'm sure he wont get in my way again, or otherwise, that limousine will be the least of his worries.~Jake Hager Def. Chavo Guerrero to become 13-0~Not much to say about this one. Hager won in convincing fashion with a huge series of powerbombs followed by an Alley-Oop Powerbomb that sent Chavo flying face first into the mat. *Suddenly, the crowd pops huge and JBL jumps over the barricade, carrying a baseball bat in his hands. JBL slides into the ring but Hager gets out of dodge before JBL can get anywhere near him. JBL: Hager, you son-of-a-bitch! Get your big bulky ass in this ring so i can teach you a lesson your momma shoulda taught you years ago. *JBL slides under the bottom rope and chases after Hager, who runs up the ramp and too the back.* *We cut backstage to see Edge warming up in his locker room, and suddenly, he stops dead in his tracks. The camera pans over to see The Undertaker staring at Edge.* The Undertaker: You might as well just give up now. I know you too well. I know you're tricks. I've beaten you before, Edge. Whether you win tonight or you lose, you will suffer the same fate as you have before...you will...fall to dog who rules this yard. And that dog is me.*Commercials* ~Kane Def. Shelton Benjamin~The crowd popped big for Kane's return, as many of them did not expect to see him back so soon. The former World Champion had a tough challenge in Shelton Benjamin, who had been on a hot streak as of late, but Kane managed to gain the upper hand and nail the chokeslam to get the cover and the victory in his first match back since injury. *Commercials* *We return from the break to see General Manager Teddy Long in his office. Kane walks in, and Teddy stands up.* Teddy: Kane, thanks for comin, i wanted to talk to ya playa. I got a match for you next week on Smackdown. Ya listenin? Next week, you have the oppurtunity to go one-on-one with Jake Hager. You might be the first one to beat him! How bout that playa. *Kane nods and the crowd pops huge!* Teddy: Aight playa we got ourselves a main event for next week!~Umaga Def. Chris Jericho and Edge in a #1 Contender Triple Threat Match~The match was excellent, and the three men put on a great show for everyone in attendance. Throughout the match Umaga was dominant until about five minutes left in the match when Jericho fought back after ducking a Samoan Spike attempt from Umaga and hitting a nice Inziguri. Jericho then followed it up with a running clothesline, and even Edge started to help out with a clothesline of his own. Jericho hit a dropkick to knock Umaga off of his feet, but when Jericho got back up, Edge went for the Spear. Jericho side stepped it and sent Edge shoulder first into the corner. Edge stumbled out of the corner and Jericho drilled him with a Codebreaker! Jericho got to his feet and began to move quickly to make the cover, but Umaga came out of nowhere and nailed Jericho with a kick, sending him falling over, into the ropes, bouncing off the ropes and right into the arms of Umaga, who drilled Jericho with a Samoan Spike to get the win. *After the match, Umaga stood victorious for a few moments until the arena got pitch black, and the sound of footsteps was heard in the arena. The lights turned on again and the Undertaker was in the ring behind Umaga. Taker stood face to face with Umaga as Smackdown's final moments came to an end!* *WWE Symbol Flashes on the Screen.* Quick Results-CM Punk & Kofi Kingston Def. Charlie Hass & Carlito -Hart Foundation 2.0 Def. Deuce and Domino -Jake Hager Def. Chavo Guerrero -Kane Def. Shelton Benjamin -Umaga Def. Chris Jericho and Edge in a #1 Contender Triple Threat Match
