PRIME TIME WRESTLING 2nd November 1992
Vince McMahon welcomes us and introduces our panel - Gorilla Monsoon, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Rowdy Roddy Piper and "The Doctor of Style" Slick. Tonight, you'll see action from Saturday Night's Main Event and more, including Yokozuna, Bret "Hitman" Hart taking on "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels in the Main Event to decide who will face WWF Champion Ric Flair at Survivor Series, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and more!
Saturday Night's Main Event 31/10: The Legion Of Doom defeated The Natural Disasters to capture the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship; via pinfall with a Top Rope Clothesline. LOD come away here from this huge match with the Belts they so desperately wanted. As Animal and Typhoon brawled, Hawk went up top and nailed an unsuspecting Earthquake with a Clothesline from the top rope, knocking him to the mat. Hawk covered and picked up the win.
A vignette airs. "He is The Narcissist. A Hero is coming."
High Energy & "The Anvil" Jim Neidhart defeated Money Inc. & The Mountie; via pinfall after a Missile Drop Kick. Prime Time Wrestling Exclusive - Really fun match. Money Inc. walked out on The Mountie when High Energy began taking control, with Koko nailing a Missile Drop Kick for the win.
We cut to the Intercontinental Champion The British Bulldog.
Bulldog: Saturday Night's Main Event, it's finally here. But so, is this Intercontinental Belt. It's here, around my waist, and I plan on keeping it there. Big Boss Man, you may be a worthy opponent and a great challenge, but you are no challenge I can't overcome.
Saturday Night's Main Event 31/10: The British Bulldog defeated The Big Boss Man to retain the Intercontinental Championship; via pinfall with the Running Powerslam. A good brawl here. Boss Man looked to pick up the victory with the Boss Man Slam, but Bulldog had a shoulder up and the match was restarted. He capitalised on Boss Man's distracted state, and nailed him with a Running Powerslam to keep the IC Title.
Bob Backlund defeated Jerry Saggs w/Brian Knobbs; via submission with the Crossface Chickenwing. Prime Time Wrestling Exclusive - To even the numbers, Sgt. Slaughter was in Backlund's corner. A smart decision, as Knobbs and Saggs attempted to attack Backlund after the match, but Slaughter jumped in for the save.
Saturday Night's Main Event 31/10: Yokozuna w/Mr. Fuji defeated Hacksaw Jim Duggan; via pinfall with the Bonzai Drop. Duggan held his own for a while, lasting longer then anyone else has against Yoko', but eventually he's crushed. Post-match, Yokozuna nails FOUR more Bonzai Drops. As he the Sumo Wrestler leaves, EMT's rush out, and Hacksaw is taken away on a stretcher.
We now go to an exclusive interview with Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna.
Fuji: Hacksaw Duggan! You fail to beat my Yokozuna! My Yokozuna make mockery of you 'American hero'. Well, my Yokozuna want to face real American hero, AND HE WILL CRUSH HIM!
Yokozuna: [grunts] BONZAIIIIIIIIII!
A promotional video airs, featuring The Honky Tonk Man alongside two men. They are James E. Cornette and "Double J" Jeff Jarrett. Honky says they're The Southwestern Swing, and they'll be arriving in the WWF next week on Wrestling Challenge.
Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake defeated Dave Sigfrids; via submisson with the Barber's Chair. Prime Time Wrestling Exclusive - Beefcake, the new Number One Contender to the Intercontinental Title, eases to victory here after applying his Barber's Chair Sleeper Hold. Post-match, he chops at Sigfrids hair before strutting around the ring.
A video recaps the epic feud between "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Jake "The Snake" Roberts.
Saturday Night's Main Event 31/10: "Macho Man" Randy Savage defeated Jake "The Snake" Roberts in a Lumberjack Match; via disqualification through interference from the returning Sid Justice. Savage and Roberts beat each other bad here. Late on, Savage took control. Hitting Roberts with two Double Axe Handles, a masked lumberjack entered the ring. He Powerbombed Savage before unmasking himself. It was Sid Justice. Most of the lumberjacks entered the ring and a massive brawl erupted.
We cut to Jack Tunney standing in front of the WWF logo. He announces the Survivor Series Main Event will see Team Savage take on Team Roberts, in a 5 on 5 Elimination Tag Match. Sid Justice will be the first to join Roberts.
WWF Champion Ric Flair speaks ahead of the Main Event.
Flair: Bret Hart! Shawn Michaels! Tonight, you're gonna beat on each other to see who get's a shot at me, the World Wrestling Federation Champion, The Nature Boy, Ric Flair! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Well, any outcome tonight, will not affect the outcome of the Survivor Series. I will remain, WWF Champion.
Bret "Hitman" Hart defeated "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels w/"Sensational" Sherri; via pinfall with a roll-up. Prime Time Wrestling Exclusive - Back and forth action throughout this match. Michaels attempted to cheat to victory but couldn't put Hart away. Ric Flair and Mr. Perfect were at ringside, enjoying the brawl in the ring. However, they soon turned physical, attacking Bret Hart on the outside of the ring. This was countered when "The Model" Rick Martel and Marty Jannetty came out and ran them off. Martel and Jannetty focus on Michaels, but the referee does not allow any contact. The match resumes, with Martel and Jannetty in Hart's corner. Sherri hops up onto the apron complaining of Martel and Jannetty. Michaels lines Hart for a Superkick, but he dodges it and he nails Sherri! Hart rolls up Michaels to pick up the win and Title Shot!

PTW was superb Chaz. The 2 exclusive matches sounded amazing.
SNME was stellar. I agreed with every booking decision made, and it just seemed like a straight up killer show.

SUPERSTARS OF WRESTLING 6th November 1992
Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect welcome us to this weeks edition of Superstars. They hype appearances from Tatanka, Yokozuna, Sid Justice and "Macho Man" Randy Savage. We head straight into action.
Kona Crush defeated Kamala w/Kim-Chee; via count out. Kamala seemed slightly intimidated by Crush. This was proven when he tried to apply the Kona Clutch, only for Kamala to block it and run away, getting himself counted out.
Prime Time Wrestling 2/11: Bret "Hitman" Hart defeated "The Heart Break Kid" Shawn Michaels w/"Sensational" Sherri; via pinfall with a roll-up.
A vignette airs. "He is The Narcissist. A Hero is coming."
The Big Boss Man defeated Louie Spicolli; via pinfall with the Boss Man Slam. Boss Man picks up a nice win here, not letting his defeat at Saturday Night's Main Event affect his performance.
Sid Justice defeated Silver Shadow; via pinfall with a Powerbomb. Justice ripped this guy apart in about 30 seconds. As Justice celebrated, we go to an insert promo.
Justice: Randy Savage, you freak! You wanna know why I attacked you? You wanna know why? Do you remember WrestleMania, Savage? Hulk Hogan took my Title Shot, and I destroyed him. You went on to win the Title, MY TITLE! So now, I'm gonna destroy you, 'cause I.. rule.. the world.
A promotional video airs, featuring The Honky Tonk Man alongside two men. They are James E. Cornette and "Double J" Jeff Jarrett. Honky says they're The Southwestern Swing, and they'll be arriving in the WWF next week on Wrestling Challenge.
Sean Mooney hosts the WWF Update. He reviews Saturday Night's Main Event and this weeks edition of Prime Time Wrestling before bringing up the Survivor Series. He hypes the matches before we go back to ringside.
Yokozuna w/Mr. Fuji defeated Action Jackson; via pinfall with the Bonzai Drop. Yoko' mauled Jackson, throwing him around with belly to belly suplexes and nailing an ugly leg drop before finishing him off with a Bonzai Drop. During the match, McMahon and Perfect noted that Yokozuna had legitemately injured Hacksaw Jim Duggan, who will be sidelined for up to six months. Also during the match, we cut to an insert promo recorded for Prime Time Wrestling.
Our Main Event is next. Tatanka teams with Bob Backlund to take on Repo Man and The Mountie, but first, we'll hear from "Macho Man" Randy Savage!
Savage: Yeah, you know somethin', Sid Justice, Jake Roberts, it don't matter who you get, yeah. Macho always has a plan. What needs to be settled will be settled, oh yeah, I'll make sure of that boys. But that's not why I'm here, no. I'm here to make a plea, to ask a favour, yeah. Snake, you got Justice, and no doubt some other goons up your sleeve. But what the Macho Man wants is something better, something bigger then anything else in the World Wrestling Federation, yeah. I'm talking about one man, one legacy. HULK HOGAN! YEAH! That's right, Hulk Hogan, I know you're watching, yeah, and I'm extending my hand to you, and asking you to come back and join the Macho Man at the Survivor Series, oh yeah. The Mega Powers, baby, back in action. Dig it?!
Tatanka & Bob Backlund defeated The Repo Man & The Mountie; via pinfall with a Tomahawk Chop. Tatanka was gunning for Repo, who stole his headdress last week. When Repo was the legal man, the isolated Backlund managed to tag in Tatanka, but Repo tagged out and ran to the back. Tatanka finished off The Mountie to end this week's Superstars.

Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart on Superstars sounded awesome, the rest of the show looked cool as well, the promo's you write out make the show seem so real. Expecting a Hogan/Yokozuna match sometime in the near future. Sid is awesome, a match against Randy Savage sounds great.
Survivor Series is looking great, Flair defending the title against Bret Hart is going to be classic, a five star match no doubt. Expecting and hoping that Bulldog keeps the Intercontinental title against Bossman at Surivior Series.

SNME was great, all the booking decisions made sense, and LOD winning the tag gold is great. SS is looking great already, Team Savage V. Team Roberts should be great, and I cant wait for Hart/ Flair, I am really pulling for Hart to pull off the win.

IT'S BANZAI!
lol, great booking but didn't SNME used to feature the main guys first and the lesser known guys last? I don't know I never saw SNME on FOX.
I liked Bret and HBK on Superstars btw.

Good stuff. Survivor Series is looking good. I like Sid's return, and a Jake/Sid alliance could be cool. Savage inviting Hogan back is cool and Im sure he'll show up. I didnt like Beefcake beating Razor, and I dont think its believable to have this many face vs face matches in that time period. Is Rick Martel a face now?

The build for SurSer looks great. The 5-on-5 match sounds really good... I figure Savage/Hogan/Duggan/LOD vs. Roberts/Sid/Yoko/Disasters.
I think the Bret build is great and would really like to have seen that match at a PPV.
I'm not big at all on Brutus in the IC Title Match. Brutus always sucked tbh and by '92 had worn out his usefulness.
Besides that, though, great job.

Survivor Series is looking really good, i'm hoping Flair wins because he's not had much of a reign yet. The shows are really well written, that elimination match will be awesome especially if Hogan is involved. I see Yokozuna vs. The Narcissist when he debuts. Keep it up!

I'm absolutely loving this. SNME was pretty sweet. Glad the L.O.D picked up the tag titles while The Bulldog kept his gold around his waist. Justice returning was shocking but its welcomed. Survivor Series is looking awesome man. Savage and Hogan yet again? . Having a possible Hogan/Yoko feud should be huge, cant wait for that. Bret vs Flair should be pretty sweet as well, I'm hoping Bret pulls the upset. Great stuff man.

Other than the fact you could be a lot more creative with the SurSer team names, I like the card so far. Don't like Justice being brought back, though. He/Roberts/Hogan just don't 'fit' in post WrestleMania VIII WWF 1992, in my opinion.
