UK-Rampage is looking stacked. Cant wait to read it. Not gonna lie, this is my favorite diary on the board at the moment. I absolutely love old school WWF Diaries. I seriously do enjoy reading them. Prime Time Wrestling was good, lots of good matches, good detail as well. Keep the good stuff coming man.
Drop a reply to my WWE 07' - '08 please. And my WWF '95 please.

Great diary so far. UK Rampage looks really good, but I think there are perhaps too many tag matches? I mean you already have Hogan and Warrior against Shango and Sid, and you have Bulldog/Hart teaming up, and Money Inc. against The Natural Disasters? Hopefully Savage and Taker have a nice feud over the title with Undertaker getting it.

Please tell me Undertaker isn't turning heel. Because that would have made the face turn he just completed so pointless that I'd start punching babies. Like...knockout Vader Hammer of hot flaming death in the delivery room.

Wrestling Challenge 12th April 1992
Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan welcomed everyone to the show, and ran down the card for tonights event. They then hyped that UK Rampage is just 14 days away.
The Barbarian Defeated Italian Stallion A dominant performance from the Barbarian saw him pick up the win with a stiff kick of death.
McMahon and Heenan showed clips of Randy Savage’s dissapearence on Prime Time wrestling, and that Jack Tunney will address the situation on Superstars.
Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart Defeated Brooklyn Brawler & Butch Stanley A dominant performance from Hart & Neidhart. Hart put on the star performance, and locked in the Sharpshooter on Stanley for the submission victory.
A pre taped promo featuring the Texas Tornado aired. Tornado talked about Rick Martel jumping him after his match on Superstars, and that no wonder all the women are talking about him, since they like a guy with class. Tornado then challenged Martel to a match on Superstars.
Virgil Defeated Repo Man A decent match, although the crowd cared very little about it. The action went back and forth between the two, with Virgil hitting the Neckbreaker for the win.
A pre taped promo featuring Ric Flair aired. Fliar taunted WWF Champion Randy Savage, knowing full well that he is missing after Prime Time Wrestling. Flair ended the promo with “There is somebody very smart pulling the strings here”, before laughing and walking off.
Typhoon Defeated Jim Duggan A dominant performance by Typhoon in what many expected to be a fairly competitive match. Duggan did get some offence in, but Typoon’s sheer strength was too much, and he nailed Duggan with a big splash for the pinfall victory.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Many people backstage are not happy with the return of the Ultimate Warrior. There are a number of WWF contracted wrestlers who feel that bringing Warrior back is a mistake, and many people will remember that he left after a pay dispute late last year.
Expect Ric Flair to be involved in the upcoming Randy Savage/ Undertaker feud. It is currently unknown how WWF intend on bringing him into the feud, but he is likely to be involved in the feud for the next few months.
Current plans for Summerslam include Randy Savage V. The Undertaker and Bret Hart V. British Bulldog. Some people are calling for Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior to be involved in the same match, either as tag team or a one on one match.
Former WWF wrestler Brian Adams, better known as Crush, has penned a new deal with the company, and it is expected that he will debut in the coming weeks as a heel.
Current plans are for WWF to record VHS exclusive events during months that do not feature either a pay per view or Saturday Night’s Main Event. May will see WWF holding their WrestleFest taping, although the date has yet to be determined.

Again, I can't say it enough: Taker turning heel sucks and doesn't make sense at all, considering he'd just turned face in like February. And the whole 'lights out, then disappearance' thing wouldn't have happened in 1992. It's more of a 1995-1996 thing than 1992. Savage as a heel would suck at this point, too, considering he just recently made his supernova omg babyface return. Other than that, this is a decent diary.

Apart from a few errors that may show a lack of knowledge this is a well written diary, and regardless of whether it would of happened at the time or not, I'm really looking forward to see how you can pull off Savage/Taker.

I love the Savage/Taker/Flair feud personally and I can't wait for this to continue to come full circle. Hogan vs Warrior II?! Not sure how you could get those two to face again and to create that same magic unless one of them turns heel or something. With that said, I still hope you go through with it to be honest.

Wrestling Challenge was another good show. Nice to see Owen and Neidhart get a win, along with Virgil as well. For some reason, i always thought Virgil was pretty sick. SummerSlam plans look amazing. Taker/Savage, Hart/Bulldog & Hogan/Warrior all on the same card?! orgasmic.

Superstars 13th April 1992
Vince McMahon and a returning Mr. Perfect kicked off the show hyping UK Rampage which takes place in 13 days time. They then ran down tonight’s card, which will feature a main event of the Ultimate Warrior taking on the Warlord, and Jack Tunney will adress the Randy Savage situation.
Shawn Michaels Defeated Chris Walker Michaels dominated here, putting on a good performance, and hit the Rocker Dropper for the win.
Superstars cut to Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart, who cut a promo on the WWF Tag Team championship match at UK rampage, and promised that no matter who wins, they will be the next tag team champions.
Owen Hart & Jim Neidhart Defeated Iron Mike Sharpe & Bob Bradley Another good performance from Hart & Neidhart as their roll continues with another victory. Neidhart dominated with his strength, allowing Owen Hart to lock in the Sharpshooter on Bradley for the win.
McMahon hyped that Crush will make his return on Wrestling Challenge this week.
Tatanka Defeated Barry Hardy Tatanka continued his dominant undefeated run here on Superstars. Hardy didn’t stand a chance, Tatanka ran straight through him, and finished the match with the Fallaway slam.
Superstars cut to Hulk Hogan, who cut a promo on the tag team match at UK Rampage. Hogan promised that Sid Justice and Papa Shango have no hope against all the Hulkimaniacs, and by the end of it all, it will be Hulk Hogan’s hand held high.
Texas Tornado Defeated Rick Martel via DQ A good match that saw Tornado put in the star performance. After last week’s attack Tornado was out for revenge here, and went all out to get the win. Tornado was on fire tonight, and Mertel realized this, and ended up nailing Tornado in the head with his perfume sprayer, getting himself disqualified.
WWF President Jack Tunney made his way to the ring with a microphone. Tunney adressed the Randy Savage situation, and that nobody has seen him since Prime Time Wrestling last week. Ric Flair’s music hit, and he made his way to the ring. Flair told Tunney that since the WWF champion has decided to ‘split’ that Tunney may as well award him with the championship. Tunney announced that Savage has until the end of UK Rampage to return, or he will be stripped of the WWF Championship.
Ultimate Warrior Defeated The Warlord A decent way to the the show, with two pure power wrestlers going at it. The crowd was not really into the match, which was lacking in quality. Warrior controlled the majority of the match, and got the win after hitting Warlord with the Big Splash for the win.

Prime Time Wrestling 18th April 1992
Vince McMahon kicked off the show presenting this weeks panel: Gene Okerlund, Howard Finkel, Bobby Heenan & Sgt. Slaughter. McMahon then hyped that UK Rampage will take place in 8 days time.
The Bezerker Defeated Barry Horowitz A Prime Time Wrestling exclusive. Bezerker dominated, nailing Horowitz with some stiff shots in the process, and finishing him off with the Big Boot for the win.
The panel talked about UK Rampage, and how Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart and the British Bulldog will team up at the event. McMahon hyped that Hart will be in action on this week’s Wrestling Challenge.
Superstars Recap: Shawn Michaels Defeated Chris Walker
PTW cut to Shawn Michaels backstage. Michaels cut a promo on how he is the fastest rising star in the WWF at the moment, and laid down an open challenge for anyone to face him at UK Rampage.
Papa Shango Defeated Reno Riggins A Prime Time Wrestling exclusive. Shango dominated here, Riggins seemed legitimately freaked out by Shango, and was put away after a brutal shoulderbreaker.
PTW then cut to Jimmy Hart, with his trademark megaphone. Hart hyped that he has now started his search for the next Hart Family, and that anyone that joins with him his going to go straight to the top.
Superstars Recap: Texas Tornado Defeated Rick Martel via DQ
Vince McMahon announced that Texas Tornado will get another chance against Rick Martel at UK Rampage. The panel discussed the event, and Heenan said that he has it on very good authority that Savage will not appear.
Legion of Doom Defeated The Beverly Brothers A Prime Time Wrestling exclusive. A good tag team main event that saw the action go back and forth. The crowd were completely behind LOD, who completely overpowered the Beverly Brothers in the closing minutes of the match, and hit the Doomsday Device, allowing Hawk to pin Blake for the win.

Okay, I have decided to bring this back but with a massively changed format. Since alot of WWF’s matches at this time were sqaushes I can never get into writing up aload of squashes every show, So from now on I will be posting update’s in a weekly format, giving information on the week, and doing write up’s for the big shows.

Man, that new changed format sounds awesome. I can't wait to see how this goes from here. I stopped my WWF '95 because of all of the squash matches too, so i don't blame you for changing the format. It should improve this a lot though.

20th April – 25th 1992
Still no Savage, Undertaker V. Perfect There was still no sign of WWF Champion Randy Savage, and Ric Flair made sure that everybody knew it, taunting the fans at the start of Superstars, and calling Savage out, knowing full well that he would not appear at the at the show. Prime Time Wrestling featured a major announcement from Jack Tunney, who announced that at UK Rampage Ric Flair’s ‘Executive Consultant’ wil have to make his return to the ring against The Undertaker. Ric Flair was later seen entering The Undertaker’s locker room to apparently talk with Paul Bearer.
Ready for Rampage Hulk Hogan made a suprising appearance prior to Superstars main event, delivering one of the best promo’s in recent years. Hogan sent a warning to Sid Justice, that no matter what he has planned for UK Rampage, that the Hulkimaniacs will aid him and Ultimate Warrior to victory. Sid Justice sent a message of his own to Hogan in an interview on Prime Time Wrestling, in which he introduced The Genus as his new manager and promised that Justice will be served at UK Rampage.
Perfect Team? Hart & Bulldog seemed to be getting along perfectly at Prime Time Wrestling, prior to their Prime Time Exclusive main event tag team match against the Nasty Boys. The pair put on an excellent showing during the match itself, pulling off some spectacular double team moves on their way to a victory, which saw Jerry Saggs tap out to the Sharpshooter.
Money Inc. heading for Disaster? The Natural Disasters sent a message to Money Inc. during Superstars when they destroyed Barry Hardy & Reno Riggins in tag action, finishing them off in under two minutes. Money Inc. were not impressed however, and delivered a few choice words to the team during the same show.
Sending Messages Texas Tornado cut a promo during Superstars warning Rick Martel that he will bring his A game during their match at UK Rampage. Prime Time Wrestling featured a video of an event that happened at a House show where Martel brutally attacked Tornado, splitting him open, warning him that he will end Tornado’s career at UK Rampage.
New 'Hart' Family Jimmy ‘Mouth of the South’ Hart made his first signing to the new Hart ‘Family’ in the form of Shawn Michaels during Superstars. Hart promised to lead Shawn Michaels to championship gold in the near future. Michaels proceeded to knock Barry Horowitz out in the middle of the ring with the Rocker Dropper during their match.
The return of Crush Prime Time Wrestling featured an exclusive match that saw the return of Crush. In a dominant performance Crush plowed through through Bob Bradley in minutes.
Full Results Superstars Main Event: Jake Roberts Def. Jim Duggan Legion of Doom Def. Brooklyn Brawler & Chris Walker Big Bossman Def. The Mountie Shawn Michaels Def. Barry Horowitz The Natural disasters Def. Barry Hardy & Reno Riggins
Prime Time Wrestling – Exclusive Matches Main Event: Bret Hart & British Bulldog Def. The Nasty Boys Crush Def. Bob Bradley Tatanka Def. Skinner
There was no Wrestling Challenge broadcast this week due to UK Rampage being held
Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hercules was released from his WWF contract on Saturday after a backstage incident. Hercules, real name Ray Fernandez, was apparently found doing drugs in the backstage area. A big argument broke out between Fernandez and a number of WWF stars, including Bret Hart, Big Bossman and Ric Flair. A physical fight almost broke out, and the WWF decided to release Hercules as a result.
